- not really feeling it this time, feels like a second rate knock off of the beeple zero day video but also lacking the visual fidelity that it'd require. funnily enough somehow the progression made me think about the unfinished state of the level design in kkrieger where you mostly just walk from room to room linearly on a straight path. the machine SDF geometry is nice enough though i suppose.
the music is just nice enough, i'd honestly have left the drums out entirely and just explored the pads and textures more, but i guess that's not really something i can complain about per se. nice to see Chaser giving a shot with 4klang though :)
on the technical front, i'm just wondering why there's no antialiasing? i mean there's the frame blending already, so you could jitter the pixels or the camera matrix a bit for some cheap TAA? would help quite a bit with the fidelity already, but also to that end the youtube video above i don't think is fully representative since it appears much smoother than the highest 1080p resolution exe, but oh well, at least it's nice to see a version of the visuals in that form i guess. the frame blending is far too strong here considering the movement though, starts to look way too messy imo… - isokadded on the 2022-08-30 01:40:36

- of course
lighting-wise the final shot is the best one, wish there was more of that :) - rulezadded on the 2022-08-29 14:52:35
- demo Windows E22 by FCK
- certainly some of the most imagery of all time, high quality audiovisual kitsch
i've barely any idea what it's supposed to be, but glad enough it is able to be
i just wish it wasn't almost entirely monochromatically red, really hard to look at - rulezadded on the 2022-08-28 15:41:38
- demo Commodore 64 Pösö by Da Jormas [web]
- firmly my compo favorite, which is quite a surprise considering i don't like the original at all. i guess it's the more pleasant c64 palette and quirky yet pleasant video codec, as well as better music, that ultimately resolve all of the issues i have with the original

- loved this, my second favorite from the compo (shame that the one part in the middle didn't work in the compo). lovely to hear some cold, melancholic IDM tones again, and delighted by the subtle (or not so subtle?) te-2rb nods as well :)
great job, agree with alkama - rulezadded on the 2022-08-11 14:40:04

- obviously a huge amount of effort and lots of high quality visual work (both in terms of technical prowess and design effort), but the style just isn't my thing at all
would've also laid off the amount of glare much lower, since it was honestly obscuring a lot of otherwise more interesting visual detail - isokadded on the 2022-08-08 17:47:43
