• I'm torn a bit. Let me just say first and foremost that I like it a whole lot better than Happiness Is Around The Bland - not that that's saying much.
  
  It looks really nice, it's consistent visually, but the motion is so hectic it can't possibly relate to the music which is slow and introspective. The visuals simply look bolted on.
  
  The music, in the meantime, has huge potential but never really exploits it. The production is stripped down, it could still use some polish (especially in the EQ department), but I think my biggest problem is how the (otherwise good) lyrics don't connect. It might be because the tempo of the song is too fast to allow a heartfelt delivery, but it sounded too artificial to me.
  
  Yeah, I think that's my biggest problem. It feels artificial.
  
  I complained to Smash some time ago about how Numb Res could've used some more subtext, and now here's a demo that has all the message and content, but forgets to put on the actual show.

• Frankly this looks like a "my first OpenGL demo" from '99. In a sick sense, it's refreshing to see such a big name doing such amateur mistakes as spinning the camera around when it's close to the vertical axis. (I know it's not related, but hey.)
  
  That's not to say it's without its merits, the sprites look cute and it has a good flow, some good ideas, and I've always been a fan of Kraddy's work. But the whole thing just looks garish, the camera movements and animation are awful, and ironically for a demo that talks about being the future, it's really just plain outdated.
  
  The upside is that the guys will never read this comment and will happily go on producing whatever they feel like.
