- cool and original. kudos for bucking group expectations, farbrausch-style.

- demo Windows Moonstone by Nah-Kolor [web] & anadune [web]
- mostly for the soundtrack.. also, good color composition. the effects and scenes aren't much but the 2d and textures help, transitions were a nice touch. overall, not as fun as artcity but still a quality release.

- demo Windows Monorail by bypass [web] & Black Maiden [web]
- i know, it's barely more than one scene, but i have to admit that i lap up the 3d map stuff. plus i like the music.

- 64k Windows breakloose by Kakiarts [web]
- potentially breathtaking scenes for 64k somewhat ruined by poor choices in design and music. and yes, a little more gamma next time, please.

- 1k Windows 1K in PE format
- (note to self - at least give the preview button a try..)
anyway, there are plenty of windows 1k intros on pouet, many of which are entertaining. - isokadded on the 2007-02-23 23:55:54

- demo Windows fr-055: 828 by Farbrausch [web]
- holy shit.
this is new. this is a big deal... a revolution.
i can understand how the audience responded with stunned silence. it's not minimal, or for that matter, thematic. there is content, but no message. it's not an "alternative" to any certain type of demo. it takes everything from the past several years of demos, puts it in a blender, and returns it in a totally new form. effects, 2d, 3d.. everything about demomaking is in fact here, just in a strange way.. and not noisy so it disturbs you, but slow and ambient so it draws you in. i haven't stared at my screen like that in a long time. believe it or not, not just anybody can pull off something like this. visualice, i salute you.
p.s. have a subwoofer.
p.p.s. for the record, i hated chimera, and i'm fine with most "mainstream" (whatever the hell that is, anymore) effect-centric demos. - rulezadded on the 2007-02-22 01:46:48
- demo Amiga AGA Tour de Scene by Tulou [web]
- fresh style.. a nice reprieve from pc demos :)

- demo invitation Windows Explosive! by Traction [web]
- pretty dull and uninspired, but, decently quality i guess.. granted, i could probably do the same thing in werkkzeug :) music was, again, adequate, not up to lb's usual level of creativity.
