- 4k Windows Das weisse Rauschen by Will Spliff
- Annoying. Take your angst out on someone else.

- demo Windows Midnight Run by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- I love the music (not every soundtrack has to be hardcore) and the smooth direction and motion (well, actually, it's not so smooth on my pc). A nice cooldown from Metamorphosis.

- demo Windows n-0505 by xplsv [web]
- exactly what gloom said (i'd contribute an industrial track if i'd ever really get back into music-making :)

- 4k Windows Photon Race 2 by Archee [web]
- the medium-1024x768 version runs beautifully here (r4850) but no music, which is weird. i liked the still version so it follows i like this. :)

- demo Windows Into the Pink by Plastic [web]
- perfect use of 3d techniques. the music works well. if they supposedly do orchestral a lot, so what, other groups do techno, breaks, or d&b a lot. i think that those who deem this mediocre are just setting their expectations higher than "linger in shadows". patiently awaiting final version which will hopefully support radeon as well.

- demo Windows Life on Air by SystemK [web]
- At first, I thought this might be gz and basehead, aka the Order of K aka K-Rad (the DOF and ribbon style is similar), but nope, they flaked. I liked the uplifting music and bright colors. I'm a sucker for depth of field too, although it wasn't quite right on close-up objects. On my R4850, it ran too slow by default, and even in "low quality mode" the cherry blossom part was still slow. Keep it up, I hope to see more demos from you guys!

- demo Windows Stargazer by Orb [web] & Andromeda [web]
- I got goosebumps. It was so great to be pwned together with my fellow NA sceners at NVScene. :) The infinite mosaic-zoom was a long-time dream effect of mine (next step, animating each tile!). The music was a little bit of a Nexus 7/Interphace tribute with its sharp stabs, but still modern. Smooth as butta on my R4850 - the way it should be. Finally, thank you for not requiring DX10 or an HD-display. Good that more people can actually run it.

- demopack Windows Capped.TV Kiosk 2008 by Dolphins [web]
- There are about six internet kiosks next to the nvscene room which would be absolutely perfect for micksam's demo kiosk.. but, a) I don't think any of us knew about them in advance, and b) we would had to have arranged something far in advance if we wanted to be able to use them. So, oops.
Thumb up will come after I check it out. :) - isokadded on the 2008-08-26 21:48:28
