- xeron: no hard feelings- i'll excuse you for not porting if you produce a couple more demos (platform irrelevant) like that :)

- i guess the problem with SMSQ/E is that it never really had a native platform. even the q40/q60 boxes (the only ones ever built with SMSQ/E in mind) came with a linux68k package in the box. if simply booting the other OS lets you run all the software you need, you can waste all your time on porting your own OS to a new generation of hardware. and that's exactly what the SMSQ/E ppl have been doing for about 22 years now, afaik ;)
aranym does indeed emulate 68k, and also dsp. afaik the intention of the project was to stick with that structure from the start, but i've got to admit i'm not a big expert since i stopped following the project a few years ago. imho the only "honourable way" is to somehow port this prod to real hardware, which means an equal amount of headache for both AGA and Falcon, probably :/
as for our opensource releases: i wish you the best of luck ;) and keep my fingers crossed that you like 68k :) - isokadded on the 2008-08-19 16:56:33
