I got some good news. The Evoke found a much better location in a much cooler city.

This years Evoke will take place in the "University of Applied Sciences Cologne" in Cologne (Köln).

That's the chance for shifter and ile to prove that it's only a stone's throw from amsterdam to cologne :)

And it won't be difficult to find a gay happening in cologne for shifter, ile and the mandarine boys ... :)

we will have some cool 3d equipment from more3d there! they will provide us with some stuff that'll allow us to show directx-demos with a 2-beamer-system! does anyone know some really cool directx-demos (doesn't run with opengl stuff :/) we should show?

to give you some more details:
the guys from the company more3d did a special directx driver for nvidia based dualhead gfx cards. the 2 beamers have polarisation filters and you need polarisation glasses to watch it.
they will borrow us their stuff to do the best thing you can do with it - watch a demo, have a beer :)

i already watched fr-19 on that system. it's great. it looks like the objects are levitating in front of the screen.

You guys from France, Belgium and maybe even from the Netherlands should notice that there is a highspeed train called thalys that goes to cologne. The trip from paris to cologne, for example, just takes 4 hours.

That could be a comfortable alternative to get to the evoke.
