Meeting him at a demoparty (especially those I visited for the first time) made the whole thing instantly a lot more "familiär" to me. Great to have him around with all the joking, tech talk, and hugs. I admire his talent, dedication, and art styles. Thank you, mog!

Awful news - I always liked talking with m0g but never did it enough. We lost a genuine and wonderful person, that surely will be missed. 2023 has really been a crappy year :(

Hello all,
mog's farewell and subsequent urn burial will take place on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 1 pm at Leipzig South Cemetery (Südfriedhof / Meet at the "Trauerhallen" at around 12:45 p.m.).
Afterwards there will be a celebration of his life in the form of an informal picnic in the Friedenspark. Please bring your own food / drinks, and potentially something to sit on for the picnic.
If you have one, please bring a printed photo of your favourite moment with Mike or of Mike. If you would like to bring flower arrangements, please bring a maximum of one (a single one) of your favourite flowers, as there will not be much room at the grave site. All individual flowers brought will be given together as a bouquet to the grave.
Anyone who would like to to say goodbye is welcome.

the expression you need to learn is "C'est pas faux", meaning "...True", in a totally non-compromising way. It generally serves as a filler in a conversation, when you don't really want to participate but have to say something...
so my advice for the next party in France is to learn this and toss it in ANY conversation :D

The stressful, modern way of life has taken its toll on all of us... I'm in denial when I read such news especially for people who leave us so soon.. RIP :'(
I watched hallmackenreuther again today and realized that it's almost one year already since mog left us. you will always be in our memories, friend. <3
