dubba: any working link is a lot less unacceptable than a dead one ;) having said that, our experiences with free filehosts on the longer term are such that we habitually make backups or reupload such files to a safe/recommended host such as untergrund.net or scene.org.

branch: You could issue a ticket on github to see what people who maintain the codebase think. Or you could build yourself a greasemonkey script. In general, we don't think it's a big deal really. While it's good etiquette to not vote for your own stuff, it's not exactly forbidden either. If you're proud of your creation, then be proud. :)

In that case the release date is April 2017 when the first release came out, somebody updated the date last year.

I did ask for SCAS to be deleted last year because all of the contents are on new final CD32 compilations, mainly this one, plus the SCAS disc has nothing to offer anyone that isnt on my other discs and will be a waste of cd-r for anyone burning it, hence the download is longer on my dropbox account.
