does ZX Spectrum platform needs to be subdivided?

I'd like to tell that your gang doesn't have rights to point others what to do. Your "visible majority" (or the most active trolls) is no more than a Maydan pretending to represent the whole country.
you guys are cute

groepaz, you can have them both!

Alone_Coder> actually the gang exists only in your mind... but... you lost your mind somewhere...

btw, you are the only fighting with "the whole country".

How strange that you can't see Marq's, Screw's, lvd's, hippiman's votes here, the platform division at DiHalt (faking the platform and compo information in the demo is so effective for collecting votes!), all the e-mags and e-papers, FidoNet and ZX-Net talks.

You might think that if something is repeated enough times by a number of meat-puppets, this will become true and change the written history? Do you live in an Orwellian world?

One example that is repeated many times is "our computer runs Spectrum programs and can read Spectrum disks". Well, my PC runs Spectrum programs and can read Spectrum disks! So, Pimp My Spectrum is a Spectrum demo, isn't it?
alco, why you ignored VBI challenge? Pussy in code but strong in blablablah?

Alone_Coder> the e-mags and e-papers, FidoNet and ZX-Net talks IS NOT a demoscene. 5 friends IS NOT the whole world. why do you always try to stretch one on another? you have to read scrollers in demo or scene stuff instead of regular talks anywhere to get scene history right.

btw, did you count how many times you have repeated the word 'fake'? ;) isn't it enough yet and became true?

Faking the name of the group:
BB Image

Faking the compo:
BB Image

BTW did you count how many times the platform was faked for your FPGA prods? For example, the same VBI's "3BM 2014 invitro" was posted as a "ZX Spectrum" prod, and my "The Link" was posted as a "ZX Spectrum + Wild" prod, while VBI's is for TS-Config and was shown in Wild, and mine is for ZX Spectrum and was shown in 8-bit demo. Just because friends are so friends, and enemies are so enemies. Being an enemy of the "sect" is not easy. I saw people afraid of being under fire.
ohhh... your head is a fake.
they are NOT FPGA prods (lvd's cube IS), they are specific platform prods. stop saying bullshit!

You said that. Call to remove them from ZX Spectrum platform.
And from its "enhanced" subdivision ofcourse.

yep, they are not FPGA, i said that:) why to remove?? no need to do it. ts soft IS zx enhanced.

@psb, you change your mind faster that one page of discussion ends.

If TS-Config is ZX Enhanced, as you said now, then qr and V6Z80P are too (they are the same - all modern, all FPGA, all run ZX Spectrum software).

If TS-Config is a "specific platform", as you said before, then let's remove it from ZX Spectrum/ZX Enhanced into "Enhanced 8-bit" as in existing demoparties (see the previous pages).
Actually, if my memory serves me correctly, V6Z80P does not run ZX Spectrum software in the same config where this demo is written. You must load a separate config to run ZX Spectrum software. So, your comparison is not valid at all.

What is the difference? A config is just a program you load.

And I see some cue from you, like there is only one prod for V6Z80P. However this page lists a lot of software, including several demos (even if we don't count Spectrum videos there). And I don't see "Spira" or "Loopback" there. More applications are listed in the wiki. There is no page listing all the V6Z80P software.
A config is not a program, it's a hardware config.

An FPGA hardware config is a file that is loaded from external source, and this file is compiled from a hardware description language like VHDL or Verilog. This is called FPGA programming. (And there is also debugging.)

Do you want "bass.dll" platform just because some software uses this library?
Verilog model of 6502.

A number of books note that "Verilog has a C‐like syntax".
FPGA config is not a file, it's a raw bitstream.

A computer program, or just a program, is a sequence of instructions, written to perform a specified task on a computer.
FPGA does not execute a sequence of instructions. there are no any instructions at all.

psb> FPGA config is not a file, it's a raw bitstream.
An example of such a file in the archive. This file is generated by Quartus II and loaded in ZX Evo board.

I wonder how Verilog programs and Verilog programming exist if psb denies them?
FPGA itself does NOT know about any files, does not contents any files. Verilog is NOT a programming language.

Hi guyz.
You know, I had a hike on the mountains (welcome to Carpathians, just in case) and thought a lot. It all seems different to me when I came back. Why explain anything to a chat-bot wasting bytes in forum DB and keyboard strokes. The future seems bright and we have got a plenty of work to do. Thanks to everyone who supports our "sect" =) and sorry for the mess!

Huh. I almost missed all of this. I wondered all the time whats going with these ZX Spectrum Users freaking out and the flood of peculiar "ZX" products, always surrounded by a swarm of irritating hatred.

I had a ZX81 when i was 9 years old and that was in the 80s. I liked it. And i have fond memories of people with ZX-Spectrums and all the stuff that then went on when the C64 came out.

But.. TS-Conf? Wat? I didn't even find any understandable documentation on my quick browse. Just some Arduino-Style New-Generation FPGA Boards. Come on guys. This is totally misleading and causes so much anger among the real ZX Sceners.

Why not just change this prod type to Wild and the discussion is over? Because unless otherwise proofed legit, this really has a manipulated taste to it.

Nonetheless, some of the Prods are good and probably many skilled coders around.

But coulnd't it also be just about selling the boards? Whats with the karma here?

no offense, just asking questions.
best
