pouet 2.0 bugs me beautifull
category: general [glöplog]
1st place please ;)
gasman: ranking should be fixed now, sorry for the trouble
Also fixed the pillaring tomaes reported.
Gargaj: That would be sweet, but it's still there (top: Firefox 23, bottom: Opera: 12.16):
Another thing I've noticed: Quoting unicode via tag breaks the preview (f.e. öüä turns into öüä)
When trying to login via Opera 12.16 I get a funny "Who are you and where did you come from ?" error message. Login works perfectly on Firefox and IE though...
i think it has to do with user-agent thingy?? was this mean for bots?

tomaes: The unicode preview problem is only in Opera, it works fine in FF/Chrome, but I'll see what I can do. The pillaring on that particular page is because of the comments that widen the whole container - I believe the same thing occurred in 0.9 as well.
Hopper/xiaomega: No, it's CSRF protection. I'll take a look.

tomaes: unicode works just fine for me in Opera 15.0 / Firefox 23.0+24.0 / Chrome 28.0 (all Win7)
19:49 cest, clicking on the logo gives me infinite redirects until browser stops it. no way to get to the homepage. i'm logged in.
bonefish: can you do a browser cache clear?
also how the fuck are you at 19:49 cest if it's only 19:39 cest.
@gargaj, sorry that was 19:29 rather than 19:49. it seems that it works now. also, openeing www.pouet.net didn't cause redirects, only click on the logo (that leads to index.php). strange thing.
also, did a login on the bbs page, and when I returned to the homepage, I wasn't logged in so I needed to do it again - after that redirect started.

...and while we are at it, the party page seems extremely slower than before. noticed after 2.0.
e.g. when I click on Evoke on the prod page, but also valid for the other parties. (it says page that it's generated in 1.2 sec, but wait is 5+ sec long)
maybe some column index got missing during the migration?

I know, it's on the agenda to speed it up.
Gargaj: Opera 15+ is beta and Chromium-based, that's why. The still current 12.x/Presto incarnation is a bit more stingy in that regard.
About the pillars: Yes, that happens when there's a comment line that exceeds the default width. The old version didn't do that unless there was an image or (in very old versions) an especially long, unbroken string of characters. Hence the CSS "fix" I posted a while ago.
A minor thing I forgot to mention: I think the code tag eats tabs, which might not be desirable behavior in that context. :)

That stinginess is quite incomprehensible considering the charset is in there in the content-type tag, but now it's forced in header as well so it should work with older Opera now.
The code tag will get a fix as well at some point.

Maybe mentioned on the other pages, but I seems to get logged out while typing a reply and get 'not implemented' when submitting. Luckily, I'm seasoned so I Ctrl+C before I hit submit. ;)
Can`t add CDC.
Gargaj, I'm also seeing a redirect issue. It seems to happen when I first load the site up (not tried clicking the logo). The page fails to load with a "too many redirects" error. Refreshing has loaded the site up normally every time.
No issues with browsing the site though - it seems to just happen when first opening the site after not visiting for a while - maybe related to the login session or something?

groups.php default sort is z->a instead of a->z
is it only me, or why am i forced to login everytime i've been inactive on the site and get back?
i'll be sued for this question.
