Its time for a .Werkkzeug category!
category: general [glöplog]
The first serious wz productions are coming in:
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=13645
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=13666
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=13662
I think its time to add a special category for them. After all flash demos have their own category, too. Of course, farbrausch releases with unpublished versions of the demotool should stay windows demos.

Nah, just prefix them with wz+number and everything should be ok.
nonsense!!! is there a demopaja category? i think not! a windows demo is a windows demo and it doesn't matter if it's made with demopaja, werkzeug or your mom!

Word up!
Piracy = cancer
Amiga = cancer
What next?

There are a lot more werkzeug prods out there. Like most of farbrausch's prods. Could we also have all the prods of conspiracy, moppi and any other groups that released a demo tool moved to their own categories? Thanks.
i would even agree with okkie. the creation is rather uninteressting for simple viewing.
Ok, then please point out the difference between wz and flash. The wz player could very well be ported to other operating systems.
well, for one: wz doesn't suck.
1-0 for gargaj :)
NeZbiE: AMIGA = PIRACY ? :)
WERKKZEUG=CANCER!
You guys are absolutely RIGHT! Imported demo design tools are SATAN'S SPAWN that DESTROY the demo scene! Naturally, we also need categories for hardware accelerated demos and demos that use an external soundplayer.
Hello earth: having a demo design system, imported or in-house, is future. If it allows you to import your own effects into it and then timeline the shit, what's wrong? No one is impressed by blending images anymore, so why not let the demo design system take care of basic blending effects and synchronization, and let the demo coders concentrate on the effect artistry, instead of reinventing the wheel of basic timelining?
(Of course, I'm talking out of my arse since I don't actually know anything about werkreuz or however you spell it, but I assume it to be a demomaking tool of some kind :)

you talk out of your ass!
just like the guy who speaks french through his ass? that's so awesome!
we dont have demopaja category either, so why a werkzeug category.
*yawn*
Flash isn't a demo tool but WZ is. Hence why Flash has its own catagory.
shifter: Oh mon dieu!!
S'PLEK = CANCER
why have demos made with tools in a different category ? it sounds very stupid. a demo is a demo. i would like to see flash demos in the demo category too. however, i wouldn't want to be the one who uses someone elses tools and editors since that kind of spoils the whole idea with demoscene & coding for me.
i definitely do _not_ want to see flash stuffs in the demo category!
and i have ambivalent feelings regarding wz...

it's easy.
demopaja already has a fanpage which contains all demos made with paja, maintained by Zone (i think)
werkkzeug already has a couple of fansites, even a Wiki somewhere - what limits people from adding their demos there?
this, of course, is only relevant when you want to add a "werkkzeug" flag to the demos strictly for the sake of being a well organized archive.
if you just want to separate them from other demos... well, tough luck but you might as well create a group for demos which involved Demopaja, FT2, Deluxe Paint, 3DSMax, and so on and so on...
makes no sense really. i mean, you CAN notice if something is WZ-made. and if you want to judge by that, well, that's bad.

I'd also like to have a Werkkzeug category (and maybe categories for Demopaja etc., too). At the moment there is no way to do a search for demos made with Werkkzeug!
