The demoscene sourcecode thread

category: code [glöplog]
Since the sourcecode sharing started to become really cluttered, here are the ones I quickly scraped together:

Farbrausch: tools, demos, intros - https://github.com/farbrausch/fr_public
Moppi: tools - http://digestingduck.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/demopaja-sources.html
Conspiracy: tools, intros - http://conspiracy.hu/releases/Conspiracy_Source_Pack.zip
Excess: tools, demos - https://github.com/kusma/vlee and https://github.com/kusma/rocket
ASD: sample code - https://github.com/farbrausch/fr_public
Mudlord: sample code, framework - https://github.com/mudlord/framework64k
KeyJ: sample code - http://svn.emphy.de/scene/trunk/
Northern Dragons and Bawlz: sample code, framework - http://tmdc.scene.org/tmdc-template.zip
XPLSV: demos, sample code - https://github.com/mrdoob/xplsv_orsotheysay
Supersole: demos, sample code - https://github.com/sole/demoscene/tree/master/releases

I probably missed some, so please add more if you know of them!

The link to the ASD source codes seems to be incorrect. However, I have not been able to find the correct link. Thanks for compiling this list.

keops: those are prods on Pouet which come with sources - not the same thing, but probably some good finds there as well.

Fit prods, marked with a "src" bubble. Authentic 1990s web design as a bonus.

The smallest intros constitute the group where sources are attached most frequently. Pouet sourceprods list (keops post) points only a few of them - HardCode collection, even not updated for over year, includes about 1300 asm files.

Iq's site is packed with code too
might be nice to see some north american groups participating in the sourcecode dump, I know there is stuff to share . . .

Thanks for the thread Gloom!

gloom: Duh, you missed one of the prods you were part of yourself :-) amoeba came with full source code. It's actually even maintained and updated (GTK+ 2.0 support for the config dialog, compiles on eleven Linux architectures, plus FreeBSD kernels, etc.) in Debian; it's my favorite test for checking if OpenGL works :-)

That's it. It's been announced a thousand times, but this time it's really happening: the scene is dead. :)

Your filtertool for removing comments seems to have bugs, I spotted some left over.
I have no idea which links are actually still working since this is an article from 2008.. but just have a look perhaps there is something interesting for you to find..:
