Sure we do. Most demoscene channels are on IRCNet - #bitfellas and #breakpoint being the biggest.

IRC is a great place to put superfluous dots behind sentences...

How I join IRCNet? The hardest I tried, I could only join using their webclient (that is stupid... I used /list, and nothing happening... after a couple of attempts it started to list line by line of list, and got me banned...)

why did you want to /list? that would be just showing, what, 50,000 channels?

If you got banned / k-lined then you probably won't get on at all.

Get a proper IRC client (IRSSI, mIRC, xchat etc) , and chose a IRCnet server near you.

That is the problem, I did not found a list of IRCnet servers that I could use (and I got banned from xs4all actually... that is the one that the webclient uses, but right now I am using "choopa" and it is workign wonderfully ^^)

I havent visited #pixel since 10 years ago. The funny thing at my job we have started to use irc to communicate between different locations because it`s basically serve our needs and not more. And yeah, when we are bored we kickban eachother :)

I'm at IRC constantly, maybe I should join a couple of scene related channels too.

And if you want a chat client that is as good as xchat and other paid ones, on windows, but you are low on budget you can try this.

There's also mibbit and now a Win32 port of IRSSI available with putty-localhost-windowing! And if youre a FINN, you know you can join #demoskene and later on #suomiscene on IRCNet
