It seems that after this thread the whole Pouet.net site was reported to IWF organisation which in return handed over the case to Interpol as claimed by BitFellas user Wade. So from now on we must be more careful when posting things on the site...

Yes apparently the had news about Pouet on their forums and that exactly drew my attention. It made me in impression that the opened a topic today about an incident that happened a few days ago and that's why I ask here on Pouet.

I didn't open the thread here because it wouldn't surprise me for some moron to start spamming the thread with porn or violent pictures just to "prove a point" and making the whole situation a lot worse.

Honestly, I don't want to get into another go-nowhere Pouet discussion. What I (and others let's not forget) did has nothing to do with Pouet's general happenings. As I said on Bitfellas, for me it wasn't a case of getting rid of the images because they offended me or made Pouet look ugly; it's about giving authorities a lead and helping them trace the root of that material.

This is a bit deep.

Hum, I wonder what the fuss is all about, I just wanted to put >6000 pictures in a single thread to see how it goes and test browsers and all... I happened to have taken those pictures on a website which main purpose is to host pictures.

and THERE ARE NO CP OR ILLEGAL PICTURES...

So I really wonder why it caused such a consternation among all of you...
