doom: it's a known fact that most people on the internet think their opinion is worth reading. That's why we're overflown by blogs, vlogs and clogs of housewomen thinking their life is interesting or kids thinking they can do funny video commentaries on video games.

Everybody is an attention whore when giving a platform to express oneself.

I myself like liquor, certain types of drugs, women with large (but not too large) breasts and ponies.

I think a lot of people need sum hugz.

I actually did check out some of the albums or other things that people linked to in the "favourite x" threads. I didn't think that it was all just done out of vanity.

To me, it seems that a work that one person enjoyed immensely enough to choose it to put to a "favourite x" thread is much more valuable than something that gets a high average rating, or something which happens to be popular for whatever reason. So I like discovering things based on a person's specific enthusiastic recommendation. Especially when the person is at least at some level like-minded to me (as probably most people here are).

I actually, kinda, sort of, really like when Dr. Doom is conding instead of posting silly replies here on Pouet... ;)
