I really didn't like Laevitas, but this just made me unreasonably happy because it shows that you can do all the things that it did wrong sooo right: tight direction, tense, gritty, deliciously dark.

Stalvik shows he's got more tricks up his sleeve and not just dropping obvious crowdpleasers. As a fellow BitBenda, I know the inside track of how much work the others put into this one - the tech, the design cues, the soundtrack and sync. Cracking work again

Perhaps Umbra was a bit too abstract for people, it probably needs a couple of viewings to get all the little details in there. The "red glow" is death, slowly killing you over time, so we certainly had a lot of in there on purpose.
Maybe next time we'll go more mainstream w synthwave and bright colors ;)
Very nice surprise, has some Cocoon vibes but with a unique twist. Rocks on all fields, tech, music and graphics. Waiting for more :)

Not totally sync, bip sound is too much, and effects have no sense.
I like this better than Laevitas. I love the dark style with the 666 kvlt metal attitude and the fact that there are so many scenes. There are moments when a higher poly model would've worked better and the post process chain may need some tweaking (to fix the saturated reds for example) but overall it was a nice surprise. I enjoyed watching it.
it's well made for sure, but I'm just not that much into these wannabe diabolic demos - it's way to cliché for my taste with the laughter and beeping etc and the metal (?) shading looked cheap
Outstanding trip. It's so damn fun and interesting to watch. Surely the 1st in the compo for me too. I am hooked.

Amazing mixture
Senses overwhelmed. Clearly a lot of effort went into this. Not really my cup of tea, but I applaud the intent. Maybe another viewing or two is necessary..
Industrial is not my kind of thing, so there's only so much appreciation I'm able to have, but just purely viscerally in terms of visuals there's a lot to like here. The look of the square tunnel in the beginning and the camerawork associated with it is just fantastic, as are the red blood cells towards the end of the demo. Other scenes involving the more detailed 3D models—the parts that are notoriously the most difficult to get right—suffer in comparison though, but the social agreement in the scene seems to be to forgive such sins. Kudos for delivering on a consistent concept in the very least.
