ok
Nice and cute PC demo
I love this style!
https://youtu.be/izs9EeDqRko made a 180p60 Video Capture with very high settings a hour ago. Much fun!
funny, colorfull, positive - tnx giys!
Sloppily executed visual styles that come together like toothpaste on toast.
Yea!
dodgy here and there (disconnect between chilled movements vs fast-paced tune, some fx) but over-all it's stylish as fuck, so here's my thumb

No. If you take someone else's code/art, you credit them up-front, not hidden away.
Also, this felt like a complete mess, was repetitive and annoying. I'm sure there was a nice idea there somewhere, but it got lost in the crap.
ripping
A collection of other people's shaders would've been ok if you'd been up front about it, and credited those people properly. But you didn't. Do better next time :)
you should try your "talents" in the photocopier scene instead!
dude. plz.
Colours! Nice paced demo, really like the music too, waahaa!
so colorful, nice! and - music is OSOM!
thanks for the greets in demo! :)

dart said it's a rushed last-minute party version and it'll be imprived in some way (incl. infofile :)
anyway i won't encourage blind ripping without soucrce links (well, even with 'em cause it's lame anyway :))
the demo gave me some good 00s layer-demo-time vibes but as it seems to have a lot of ripped (and barely credited) content i just cant thumb it, sorry...
Cool
rather rip-art. also the music doesn't fit to the visuals for me.

But the next day it just leaked to pouet.net without our approval, from the online voting system at CAFe.
What was released can't be unreleased. Thumb down for misunderstanding and boorish attitude post factum.

This is the party version, which I managed to deliver at 3 a.m., and naturally I did not have enough time to make a detailed list of the material used.
The compo deadline was at 6:30pm...
no need to harry for upload at pouet
but you had enough time to photoshop away the watermarks in the ripped Taylor Swift vector art? :P
ripped shadertoy-effects, ripped art... 1th place? Realy?

I thought that I had a couple of weeks to finish the work
If it was, according to nfo, "mostly" made out of existing work, then what took you weeks?
colourful and great music - visually it was very incoherernt
I don't really care about "ripping" (especially since most Shadertoys are under quite permissive licenses), at least the content was adapted to match the style.
Still, it's banal and cliched as heck. What bruce said.

Music is great and style is good.
First watch was nice.
I've always loved quality gfx in demos and they are in fact rare.
I quite like the result at 0m45s, 0m50s, 2m15s.
Second watch feels boring and repetitive. There's actually no progression.
Note that I watched it *after* having read the nfo in which intentions are not hidden at all. I doubt people read nfos first though. It's certainly not something I do and this time I did it because of the comments here.
It likely wouldn't have stroke such a nerve if you announced the idea upfront:
I guess you missed your target 🤷♂️

What if you were given an unlimited number of effects to choose from, could you make the coolest demo in history?
I guess you missed your target 🤷♂️
Ripping or not… I understand from the .nfo that it was not intended to be done “in secret”, so at least there's that, but you need to credit it in the demo, because that's what people see.
What really kills it for me is the music, which doesn't feel like it matches the visuals at all. It tries to be happy, the demo is mostly happy but sometimes goes into speech-bubble mode, and it all just ends up overly repetitive.

Nice!
Into it 👌
rippin' sucks
really oldschool in its approach (and I love that !)
