Lupin says it all
This is THE demo which makes me feel that fairlight isn't dead. Best fairlight's demo i've seen since some years. Very nice colors, good design, nice effects and kickin ass music. Come on man! prepare the fairlight's come back !!! Hope to watch a prod as good next time, but with some kicking ass 3d scenes in the middle.

nice demo and extra plusgood for working on my laptop (trident xp4 mobile gfx).
Nice effects in here, but those overlay design elements just felt rushed and sloppy, I quite honestly think the demo would have benefited by just removing them. Should have won the compo though.

as a spiritual leader of jumalauta i apologize for winning fairlight. they deserved the first place, but thanks to swedish demoparty tradition about voting (= swedes don't vote), they didn't get it.

Agree with a_lee_n. Those overlays are just plain uninspired and mostly don't fit. And the flag at the end is just the same as in Raw Confessions. But nice demo overall.

The 2D effects reminds me of old haujobb intros. Textures are nice, but overall the demo is a bit boring.

Good stuff, some nice effects, cool rendering style, tune was good. Colour scheme was over saturated now and then, but very pleasant.
it has some good points, but it's mostly about repeating the same content over and again. visually looks nice, but gets boring after a while.

Ass ugly typographics and polish colourscheme, but manages to be entertaining and fresh somehow. Pure muscular exhibitions (like the flag in the end) don't really go with my taste, but still... thumb up.

hey nytrik! yep, working on a new 64k intro at the moment and also doing some c64 gfx for a musicdisc, takes a little time, since i have much to do at the univ. at the moment. but after this weekend i have more time. hope everything is good with you!
What dixen said about typography and colourscheme... What exactly is the purpose of those overlays? They only manage to irritate me. Sideways scrolling graphical elements could be good, if not for the rather obvious seams - and why the same width as the screen? Not too exciting.

About the tiling graphics/seams you might want to explore the offset "filter" in photoshop. No it doesn't magically make your image seamless, but it does make it easier to work on the seams.
Just thought I'd write something here too. Yeah.
le thorst: do you really think i would have released the tiling graphics like it is now if i got a chance to see it before the release? nop, not really. ofcourse i also know that overlays like "my secret" "love ???" pisses ppl off. it might have been the idea too (just some strange humor). and also the prod. is made quite quickly, but that's not a excuse. i also had alot of overlays, in my eyes much better. but since the demo was made in such a hurry i couldnt really do much about it. pantaloon made a great work and he made it under very stressed time, since of his work. maybe make a version without overlays or atleast some that does fit better for your taste :)

yes, gfx in one. but amiga, yes, i painted the showtime interface and some other ram jam stuff and some things for rebels and also for the breathless intro and other.

For the music!
Depth buffer doesn't seem to be working on Win7 (hidden surfaces showing through), but this looked cool and the music was nice. I liked the C64 cracktro style of the settings dialog. Nice idea.
