The artwork is amazing! The music is also really good indeed.
The effects, though, are kind of basic, laggy, and/or buggy (glitchy scanlines in a bunch of places, tearing notably during the "thunderstorm" flashes, OBJ dropout in the "partyroom" I think, etc.)
The ROM is also really large (4 MiB O_o), though most of it seems unused?
I wish I could thumbs-up this, but too many nitpicks for that imo—here's to a partyfixed version, though? 👀

Possibly a bit rough in some of its effects and transitions, but really, who doesn't like it a bit rough from time to time...? :D Fast-paced and packed with awesome graphics. Party-tastic tune too - would have loved to have heard it blasting on a big system at a physical event...

I guess I'm biased when it comes to DMG, but this is a really well made demo, with good flow and transitions. Among other things, I like the text fading effects and the sprite cube (at least I assume it is?), and the stereo soundtrack.
Would love to see it run on the actual hardware; when I get my hands on a USB cartridge I guess.
