60FPS instead of 20ish, music and an antialiased black and white mode.

I have submitted a new version which takes less ROM space but I deleted the previous one before the change download link request has been aproved.

Sorry :(

link updated. I put the file to untergrund.net. simply delete "_update" from the filename in the link to dl the original submitted version.

I don't see the original scene1.bin anywhere in ROM or RAM w/ the mGBA debugger though :P (or mabye I just can't see)

The sprite raste trickery alone deserves a thumb, though

The original data is not processed in this port, that's why the ROM is so big.

I did this because I wanted to prove if it was possible to fill the screen with sprites written in H-Blank at 60FPS. And it worked! I think this is the fastest way to draw flat polygons on the GBA.

Cool, I was thinking about doing similar stuff inspired by the rubber cube challenge a while ago, but never got around to actually try something out.

Abusing background and sprite hardware to rasterize polygons I mean.

Thanks for uploading a video of the demo, but keep in mind that the antialiasing is not working on it!

Right now, No$gba is the only emulator that does it right AFAIK.

Kind of funny that somebody decided to port it to the GBA when Oxygene themselves already did it. Oh well atleast this one's faster and has the music.

Great port! Always thought about drawing colored and flat-shaded polys as sprites, but never got to try it out.

Nice! No idea how I missed this one. Must have taken it as a re-release of the old oxygen one, but this one is *fast* and smooth!. Brilliant idea to use sprites for the rasterizer.

Compiler trolled me, so now the ROM is 3MB smaller (~6MB instead of ~9MB).
Audio mixing rate has been increased, and maybe slow flash carts like the SuperCard are now supported.

Until download link is updated, latest release is here: https://github.com/GValiente/gba-niccc/releases/tag/1.1.0
