Seriously? Kaleidoscope from hell - no more, no less. Very VERY uninteresting to look at and listen too.

My favorite demo in the compo. Such a perfect evolution of your style into this massive piece. Love everything about it.

So, if you want to do something different, it's not enough to do it different. You also need to do it really _well_.

Like in this demo.

I wish I could have given a hug to the guys behind that coolness. So sad revision is only 4 days...

Along Still's Through the Cracks, my favourite from the compo. I like how you deliver this outrageous color explosion from prod to prod.

It's been a while since I got that much joy out of a demo but this ending to the demo compo at revision was just fantastic ;) I love the Wendy Carlos/Bach sonata based music which perfectly accompanies the trippy visuals. Thanks for that!

Alright, but underwhelming. An unremarkable flat-faced cousin to the UF/DD demography highlights we know and love.

Ever since Mrs. Pavlov I'm a fan of Slyspy's "Philip Glass on acid" style, and this time he even pulled Back into it \o/

(also shout out to BoyC for the engine. :)

Suffers from one typical problem that I see in slyspy's demos (at least the recent ones): the first minute or so is superbly cool, and then it slowly starts to lose its grasp. This time the effect started to exhibit itself when the sphere and the cube appeared. It didn't really manage to perform any kind of a climax even though the audio implied such. That isn't to say this wasn't fantastic. I loved the blurry "macro" shots in the beginning and the patterns with the circles and ellipses. Also I feel like this production would've benefited had it been restricted to somewhere in the 24-30 Hz range, would've masked away some tiny oddities in the movements and cutting. Don't let the 60 Hz mafia fool you!

I just totally love everything in this. Pure eyecandy graphics with a perfect soundtrack, which somehow managed to match the cheerful visuals without being too cheesy itself. Just the right pacing and length too. The demo did indeed feel quite familiar compared to previous UF&DD demos, but (at least in my eyes) different enough to not come across as a rehash. Easily my personal #1 in the compo.

Mesmerising stuff like always with yes, wonderful first half or so and then slowly fading. Even if the music indeed didn't imply so just yet. Lovely anyway.

Actually, I like it a lot.
The music seem to be heavily inspired by early synths (like Wendy Carlos "Switched on Bach"), which is actually a nice touch, although somehow I suspect it was a bit of a parody of "new age" or something?
What I don't really like is the voice in the middle, it kills the mood.

I like it, both the music and the visuals, it's vibrant, colorful and feels positive, contrary to all these dark and sinister Giger inspired 3D fractal morphing shaders :)
