Worse! It's just the silhouette of the mesh at the time the shadow is cast, scaled in Y by 0.5

I'm not getting any sound on an actual oldschool PC but it might be due to my cheap sound card. Does it need a real SoundBlaster?

It should work with every soundcard that has an OPL3 mapped at port 0x388 (SoundBlaster Pro 2, 16, AWE, Pro AudioSpectrum and many, many SB compatible clones).
