Amazing!!

Slow paced as hell and I didn't really get the story (maybe to drunk), but damn impressive visuals and a really good and fitting soundtrack. Totally loved the shepherd scene
Amazing music, mood, style, direction and clever dsp!
Stylish, loved the music.
very unexpected!
First few scenes (up until the goats) were absolutely magnificent, gave a real sense of world and something globally huge going on. (similar feeling when I saw interstellar the first time..) Then it kind of just failed to deliver the rest. Especially the scene that just pictured the spaceship from the side was a letdown. But still the overall mood and visual quality was stunning and the ambient music was something I like very much.

moody one
Really really stunning visuals. I love it. In my top three for sure. Maybe in the top one also.
Sleepy mood, but visuals were ok
Awesome, well done! Some scenes are utterly amazing. However towards the end it runs a bit out of steam, some scenes are shown a bit too long i think. But definitely kicks ass, very good visual storytelling (like the poobrain one). Thumbs up!
I like that ambient atmosphere. Music and colours.
The shepherd was a good idea. Airplanes seems quite ugly, though.

Beautiful.
Still can't believe what i saw.... Just... amazing!

Fantastic, everything came together nicely.
Oh my god , this is very , very nice and moody . So much , that it reminds me of half life games .
nice views
I'm not sure about this. There are some really nice scenes in here (the shepherd) but then again, something is too obvious generic (bleeding water/waves, fractal spaceship), which ruins it a lot for me :/
Also, not sure about the colors ;)

Nice. Very atmospheric.
love the sound and mood
<3
wonderful track!
would like to see behind the scenes doc on that alone.
loved the black water.

one of the highlight of the compo for sure.
absolutely beautiful, I love the soundtrack

Extremely beautiful visuals, especially at the beginning.
The music is a little bit too paulstretch heavy for my taste, it also veers into the creepy side just a tad too much.
The spaceship seemed kind of out of place and unrealistic, I don't know why. I think something like a monolith would fit much better but again it's just me.
Overall I really liked the demo though :)

Suomi rulez! We want more! :D
what a nice discovery!
i love the soundtrack, colour scheme and the overall mood.
there are some really nice shots like the shepherd or the black water scene for example.
the only things that do not fit are those aeroplanes...but that is a detail. :-)

loved the music and the shepherd scene.
Seemed nice and at least had some direction through the first part. :)
Loved the shepherd. Gave me Dopesmoker/Sleep vibes somehow. Great mood!
One of my personal favorites from this year's Revision. Awesome atmosphere: spacey, ambient, love it.
Great camerawork, sense of scale, cinematic mood, atmospheric soundtrack, what's not to like? Should have placed higher, but then I would comment this on another intro cause the top6 was so strong :)
ps. if only the typography were prettier and not that aliased

6th place? Criminally underrated. Some really striking visuals and awesome soundtrack.
Thanks for not drinking the teal&orange kool aid.
As Alpha C stated: criminally underrated. Have my ambient thumb!

What zoom said
intense soundtrack
Really, really moving and breathtaking. Lovely work on the choir and string instruments, and that reverb got to do some serious overtime :)
The intro as a whole is really beautifully composed. I didn't get the overall story, but each scene was painstakenly beautiful as stand alone, and though it's slow paced, it never got to the point where I got bored.
I agree that the herd and the shephard was definitely the highpoint of this production.
The camerawork is really great, too.
So to sum it all up: Fantastic instruments, fantastic composition, fantastic visuals fantastic thumb up :)

What gloom said
The dark horse of the compo.
What Punqtured said. Well, except the things about the instruments about which I have no clue. :)
A good "boring" intro :)
Awesome music for this pace! And awesome intro of course, just liking the laidback atmosphere! :)
well done
Definitely agreed with both zoom and Alpha C. Honestly expected it to place in top-3. Left me craving for more of those illegal Macau exports.
Really enjoyed this one. Thank you guys!
Beautifully slow pace! One of my personal favorites of the compo, I was surprised (and saddened) this didn't place way higher.
Fun fact: Didn't recognize the group name, saw the slow pace and glitter and thought "hey, do Mercury have a secondary group now?" =)

Awesome Athmospheric World. Great direction which leaves space for imagination, without being boring. We're dragged into a beautiful majestic, yet mysterious world and are left with awe.
Masterpiece!

Mesmerizing.
What v3nom said...
wonderful!
this is simply brilliant! i dig the great soundtrack. and what v3nom said.
Awesome impression!
Really nice, and quite under-rated in the compo.
Not every production needs to be in a hurry to get anywhere. The slowness gave this a kind of 'massive' atmosphere that fit the music. I get some kind of ominous terraforming systems ship vibe from this.
At 5:20 it's still pretty long, perhaps a minute or a half could have been left to the cutting room floow. But perhaps that would have made it feel smaller. Whatever, it works.

Wow, whatta fantastic soundtrack...
...complemented by poetic, beautiful visuals.
And all of this is crowned by a 64k-outfit!!!
Most pleasant surprise of my Revision2017-watchings <3

Nice atmosphere, well done.
Highly recommending the final version
final <3
a really great intro! make me want to see again "Arrival" movie immediatly :D
wow, final is amazing!
Exactly what hot multimedia said.
Special Edition: Spaceship scenes are better! Everything is better! Parts in the middle were still slow as puck. And for some reason the goat scene was not so nice this time.
At the party I was way too tired to follow this as it is really slow paced so I had to watch it again at home.
In the end I think this is really awesome! The mood is great and the scenes are beautiful! However it just doesn't work that well when showed late at night when everyone are bit tired and/or drunk. :P

atmosphere
Art!
Paulstretch in 64k. ;) And very pretty / atmospheric!
The final is an unquestionable improvement over the party version; well done for that.
I am not convinced by the whole though, mostly because the underlying technique is too visible and makes it more difficult to accept the story, especially so with such a slow pace that gives time to look at details.

The FINAL is AWESOME..
so good 4k/64k this year
The music reminds me William Orbit and Homeworld of course

Liked it.
Sublime... that Arrival feeling...
Was worth waiting for the final too!

Nice tweaks on the final version. Great work. Maybe a little *too* slow paced for its own good, but everything flows well.
Delicious. The best 64k of the competition for me.
Many groups promise a final version that never sees the light, or when it does the difference with the party one is barely noticeable. This is not the case. The party intro was good, but this "Director's Cut" is simply brilliant. Very good job!
The final version delivers.
holy crap, that final. it is so much better than the partyversion, but it absolutely is the same intro despite the changes. also what zoom said.
So good!
Really nice.
wow wow wow. amazingly good stuff. easily one of my favourite 64ks in a while. great audio and sound, all the little touches in the visuals (like the herdsman walking up the mountain with his animals, and the birds scattering around the alien ship) give it finesse and add to the already great atmosphere. the composition of the scenes and direction is impeccable. massive kudos for this <3
wow, great final!
(I'm not sure the underlying technique is that visible for a non-demoscener eye btw.. I think it works as it :) )

the final is really good, in this state it's the best 64k in that compo :)
Hehe, and I was wondering, what source you´ve used for the audio stretcher. Wow, good trickery <3 Thanks for the solution :D
really nice
love the colors and post processing

wow!
the composition in some scenes was incredible! The goats and shepherd made the spaceship stand out big time. The music and visuals matched well, and the final was very polished and nice. I did however miss the storyline/line-of-progression leaving me a bit empty. More spaceships would be nice!
Still, strong thumb up! excellent 64k!

One of best 64k I ever seen!
Great visuals, although two things dispelled the immersion. Music works well to set the mood, although any kind of small musical change recognition of the shepherd and bombers scene appearing would have made it more story-ish. Good stuff!
Wonderful final, and thanks a lot for the insightful write-up!
The atmosphere this creates still blows me away.

@cce Thank you for the excellent writeup

Excellent!
Spaceship and write-up :)

omg, where I am...that music is ravishing
Underrated. Really underrated.

As a fan of Half Life Series, i'm impressed. Great Job.
eyecandy scenes
bit to lengthy/slow paced for a killer prod though

I think when I wrote this my opinion was still tainted by experiencing the party version. Watching it again, I didn't feel this barrier anymore and thought it was immersive, thus making the story a lot more enjoyable.
Great work.
Loved the scene at 1:10, looked a lot like a picture I drew as a kid, expect for the spaceship. Nice atmosphere.
10/10 .... purley underrated. wonderful scenery, "made me cry" music... blade runner feelling.... everything perfect.
Belated thumb! really love the scenes and shots in this one, esspecially the hill scene. perfect soundtrack too.
Deserved better rank. Just beautiful.
beautiful scenery! great ambient music. Rules.
Awesome!
Nice and calm 64k production, did not see it until it was shown at Inercia today
Fantastic, relaxing, underrated.
Didn't see the shepherd with the three sheep(?) the first time.
But then again, didn't thumb up the first time either ^^

Beautiful.
Excellent use of a bit manual graphics detail alongside generated content.

Nice sci-fi art
Atmospheric, albeit a bit on the slow side. Liked it anyways, solid stuff.
My absolute favourite of that compo. So much love for details, direction, atmosphere and world building. Congratulations!
