Nice, especially the music. Colours are hard to dig, though.
@fizzer, SunSpire: Really sorry for you guys, it wasn't shown in all its beauty with all its effects on TRSAC :(
@others: Version shown on the party (one you could see in the hall or on the livestream) isn't the real deal. Download it and check it out in its full glory :)

Nice one.
For me one of the most beautiful 8ks out there, there is nothing I do not like about this except that I'm not able to watch it until a nice capture was made ;)
First of all I really like this. There is a nice softness to the scenes. Sounds like an interesting rendering method and neat trick with dropping down mip levels for the DoF effect.
Is this meant to have a very long precalc? When I first ran it I thought it had just failed silently since I got no indication it was working, I actually got up from the computer and went off and did some other things then when I came back some time later it suddenly started running the demo. Also everything seemed to work ok at the start but just after the scene with the butterfly I just had a black screen.

We're terribly for fucking up the showing of this during the compo :/
The intro does of course rule - except for the precalc

fizzer & sunspire ... you guys rock! great visuals and music.
großartig! the music, the gfx and the story :)!
Quite fresh. Music is really great, I would like to have similar in my intros ;P
The rendering a bit fuzzy, sometimes too blury as well, but still, overall nice concept and execution.

lovely glow
Very fresh indeed :)
once again, tune would have been so much better without the beat.
good sounds tho.

This is far under par in many regards. Very clever tech, especially the depth of field trick and the faked gi impression :). Excellent lighting overall too, especially the tree scene which looks very balanced and natural. Big props in general for good colors and tonality and your ability to take your time with the camera. Probably the best 8k so far (though which isn't saying that much), but also one of my favorite prods this year.
Liked the music too despite it feeling slightly run-of-the-mill (it's a good mill tho).

Eggg-sellent.
Very nice looking, and sounds good too. :)
Great!
Extending noby's metaphor, hole in one!
great soundtrack, awesome work, fizzah's style design <3.
Very lovely 8k!
Organic
Sleek and there is something late-90 early 00 newschool feel to the music.
Realy liked the music on this one. Tasty 8k
ossoooom >0<
Meh.
Very nice!
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Visually this is really interesting and definitely brings something completely new to the 8k genre. The music is amazing for it's size. Instruments are really interesting and given the fact that Clinkster doesn't have a reverb, you put that delay to serious good use. There seem to be some slight pitch issues here and there, but I guess that's from delays leaking through to be heard with notes that causes a bit of disharmony. Might be by choice, though. The bassdrum/timpani instrument is really great too, though I kinda lack the higher frequencies in the snare. I know it's really a bitch to do snares with Clinkster, and this one is definitely one of the best attempts at it! Overall, this is definitely one of the best 8k out there! Great achievement!
(Sorry for fat fingers and tablet)

Not bad. :)
This is soooo beautiful <3
Too bad that some scenes were shown not correctly in the compo, watching this after the compo at Sunspires place on the big screen gave me quite some goosebumps. Nice to meet both of you. Keep up that excellent work (Y)

Very nice
MorphOS?
nice1
nice intro
beautiful color choices and great composition especially in the middle part! doing the precalc only after the window was open would have been way less confusing for me (started it two times because i wasn't sure i had actually clicked)
Like.
Ok its an art demo. Nothing else to do than dump it down!
Beautiful 8k!
Sorry for the long precalc, which I guess is partially my fault for making such a slow synth. :) You could of course have cut the time in half by using the multi-threaded version of the player, but then you would have needed some more bytes for that, so...

Oh I forgot to vote that production which is REALLY IMPRESSIVE! Great work mate :)
What a wonderful prod. hard to believe it's just 8K
dunno how I missed commenting on this, but I absolutely love it. The style/mood is totally there, and similarly to darkness, the way all of the visuals were built up from simple components felt very clever, and it all comes together in a really nice way. One of the few 8k's that are actually starting to define the genre beyond "4k audiovis but a bit more space/polish". :)
great
neat
