Would like to hear something about the technical side. This recalls an earlier prod from a Sommerhack party which featured some heavy audio compression.

no audio compression at all, sample is 10KHz something, taking app. 160 KB
video coding is performed with VQ coding using greyscale 8x4 blocks, 1024 tiles lookup (around 300 frames iirc), video decoder is damn fast, using low-memory for the tiles-dictionary (25 fps without sampled sound)
again kudos to algorithm/Onslaught to getting me started with vector quantisation :)
