Can't run locally due to CORS, audio files can't be loaded. The screen is black too though, while giving pretty high CPU usage so there might be other issues too (no errors but some three.js warnings in the console). One problem with web prods seems to be that running them locally is often not trivial, and I'm not closing my browser session to restart it with a specific flag.
Very cool. I also couldn't run it locally, but mrdoob was nice enough to have the link to the demo on his website on the github page.

Should that be added to this page as well?

Wow, now this is one camera completely uninterested in action :D Why do you keep shooting the most sparse bits of a scene? It's defeating the whole purpose of having written a cool effect if you don't show it - you're not Elude!
Holy smokes ... I love this massive cosmic cataclysm feel ... also, the Roly Porter-ish music is amazeballs
It's an interesting effect. I like that you allow people to use play/pause/time slider controls during playback - this should be gold standard!
Otherwise, it's a bit empty, I understand it supposed to be minimalistic or even artistic, but left me rather cold.

nice
mrdoob: Tried the python version, didn't help. But I mean, even measures like that are unreasonable I think. If it's a zip packet, I should be able to just start and run it. I wouldn't even mind otherwise but this seems to be such a common problem with JS demos. Either host it online, or actually make sure that it's desktop-compatible (my general grievance, not trying to bark at you).
Anyway, watched it through the online link, and v nice! Great track and a fitting foreboding atmo. Didn't believe I could still get so captivated by very minimalistic particle formations :). Lovely font also.

I like this. Love the music.
Nice Effect :)
nice one. i love the music!
Relaxed enough to sleep.
Nice :) Expected more, when the camera started moving towards the end. Looked like two planets with solar flares starting to rotate around each other ... suddenly, end :D
Nice angst demo, but a little slow on this machine.
I like it.
art style.
nice effect and music.

mrdoob, if you'd like, I can host it for you on my server for free :)
this actually is very heftig as said before, but what i am wondering is - the use of (credited, though) third parties' already released audioworks is ok with the competition rules? that is very liberal. if lorn or ninja tune should decide to fiddle with the copyright settings, i guess it would be difficult to archive this prod in an accessible video format. - this is no criticism at all, i am just wondering why you were so relaxed on that decision. thumb for lorn alone, the visuals are pretty supportive to the tune :-)
artsy fartsy.
Very nice
Cool demo and works fine in Firefox 45b6 :)
I'm usually bored with particles but this demo pulled some nice tricks.
@mrdoob: Would it be possible to use CreateJS to circumvent the issue with the resources being dynamically loaded from localhost? I'd say it worked for me in a videogame I'm coding.
I couldn't see such bloom fx on party screen :(
now this is relly eally cool
i liked the borrowed soundtrack, the direction was just right to keep the one effect interesting enough for the 2.5 minutes.
impressive work.
Enjoyed this a lot. Really creative method of rendering that somehow gives the feel of the objects' dimensions even though they're never directly there.
Hypnotic.
I'd also like to add that I like the idea of the playback bar whencefrom you can 'scrub' the demo forward and back. I usually have this as a debug mode feature for my own prods too, but leaving it on for the final is a nice touch.
I love particles ♥
Needless to say I enjoyed this a lot.

Nice. It ran under SeaMonkey v2.39 (using same Firefox v42's engine) on a very old, updated Windows XP Pro SP3 machine. :)
........
Maybe spend your afternoon on walking and shit. Not making crap like this!
Does one thing and does it well. Neat mfx-y vibes too.
9mb of streaming music for less-than-1mb isn't a good way.
Anyway, it launches even on my Android phone and... it rocks, without extra words.
