Unusual & nice!
Great little prod, and extra special thanks to the zik composer ;-)
Nice design, music and pattern interference idea.
Minimalist but creative. Not bad at all.
What an artistic production. Brilant. This is the prod of THIS day for me! Thank you!
...and the music.
...and the music.
Brilliant! :)
Nice.
nice
OHP diffraction like FX ! Good job GGN (& not bad mention for Tchaikovsky)
Cool moire animation tricks. Made me think of that live demo some guys did using transparencies on an overhead projector, can't remember who it was though.
Very interesting.
Was it part of the compo rules to use an existing classical composition as the soundtrack?
Was it part of the compo rules to use an existing classical composition as the soundtrack?
@noby no the rules were 1 bitplane and 1channel music so i guess the idea to pick up on a classical theme comes from the later limitation
For those wondering, here's a verbatim copy of the rules the participants were given:
As for the music selection... no musicians handy at the time and well, I just like the tune :)

Global Convention of Worldwide Demo Developers International, Inc

Rules for demo compo
---------------------
# There must only be two colors on the screen, and only those two colors
throughout the entire demo
# Music must use only one channel of audio
(it's worth pointing out that the first party's winning demo broke all rules,
and most of the entries broke at LEAST one rule)
Hardware:
4MB STE with UltraSatan
800XL with Ultimate 1MB, stereo and SIO2SD
It *may* be possible to arrange a TT and Falcon, but I can't guarantee that, so
to be on the safe side, use STE or XL/XE.
For any platforms other than STE and XL/XE, we *will* accept video captures,
ideally from the real hardware.
As for the music selection... no musicians handy at the time and well, I just like the tune :)
Nice one.
veery nice!
fucking crazy music with alright gfx
Minimalistic.
Great! I was wondering when someone will do with code some of those crazies interferences effects I saw on some wild demos! Really cool :))

Absolutly nice demo.
Absolutly nice demo.

Not using the blaster to put the birds onto the screen gets my +1.
So so.
Neat! The pattern interference was cool!
This is really nice, the music synch is super sweet.

nice moiré-effect.. and unusual music... i like ;)
Nice mix!
This is very good! Creative and beautiful. I like the music, but have to admit I'd have preferred an original score instead. Still, love it!
Very impressive and - as usual for ggn - very unusual. Neat!

And now there is also a write up on the creation process: Sweetness Follows - Making of. May this become a regular and appreciated demo add on.
