Cool leftovers!
Should contain an epilepsy warning! O_o

Pretty much what baah said.

Thunderdome - The Leftovers. A completely unexpected and tastily reheated surprise dish on the Evoke stream :-)

Great. I was happy to be there and see a kicking Atari ST production. Amigaaaaargh ;-). Tempting now to do some modern experiments on my good old STe. Anyway I'll test it on real hardware and Hi-Fi. Thanks to revive this platform ! Congrats.

I was rather confused by this. It contains copyrighted audiosamples, which are in plain sight (now do the harlem shake) as well as copyighted logos and even the name itself is a brandname. Besides this I expected a making of, but instead it was filled with gabber.

I like gabber. I guess that is what saves it from a thumb down, even with all the scenes recycled like eight times. Oh and that 3d-model of the ID&T-logo was cool as well.

Great 90s style :D

I didnt compare it 1:1 to the original demo, but its really more of the same.
Im not a huge fan of hardcore techno (or gabber or whatever) but you still have to pay respect for the insane code that is driving this little fucker.

While I was watching this demo for the first time in utube,
the most interesting thing for me were pieces of some 68k asm sources flashing on screen. I had to look through by pressing pause.
Nothing really interesting, looks like many DC.L, some system calls and that's all.
Every other thing in this demo is just a bunch of fully repeating itself short effects. Nothing exciting for me.
Music is not impressive (for me!) at all.

Boring, vomiting soundtrack
it can be not so bad demo with proper sound
Visuals enought impressive

Far too repetitive, but always +1 for hardcore

Lovely demo, once again produced by Defjam/LSL and the crew at Checkpoint :)

This was a welcome surprise entry to the 'Alternative Platforms' compo at Evoke 2015, as CiH and myself were watching on the livestream from the party. Nice to see an STe demo up there competing alongside the other formats :)

Cheers,

Felice.

Feels somehow warmed up from theier last release, plus using copyrighted audio is probably something Gema more likes than the party organizers. All in all a piggie for an otherwise enjoyable show.

I asked Bass-D about the soundtrack and he said it's ok to use it in the demo without issuing gema aspects..
anyway.. relay gabber and hardcore heads give a fuck about gema & copyrights.. so why this mimimi? :)

This was properly funny at the party. And it still is.

Not as good as the original but I found something about the process.
Nope, not really. Some scrolling things and some stills. The layered polygon stuff was a nice effect, but stretched too thin to make it a piggy...
