Awesome.
Rubber!
Not only technically impressive, also nicely produced and synched and getting decent sound out of hardware that's not known for decent audio.
Filled! Rubber! Widescroll!
Awesome effects and slick sync
Two nice world-firsts in this one!
Filled vectors on the VCS? And with rubber-effect as well, cool stuff.
The screen-wide scroller is also a real advanced effect, that I doubt people who don't know 2600 internals will understand just how difficult it is! :)

why use amiga when vcs will do? ;P
Doing impossible things == auto thumb up! Really cool music too. And nice Amiga "bashing" too. :D
A bit lofi, but in a proper way and such that fits to the platform. Nice syncs and a good track too (finally something that starts to rival ilmarque's stuff). Up!
Hat on that!
Good work.
yay for impossible demos
Crazy.
I was thinking about what to write here, but I ain't got words for how amazing and cool this is, I guess this statement will suffice.
A-mazing. Great effects and good zik!
Ha!! I wonder what you gonne squeeze from the Amiga with your methods used here...

So so nice !
*jaw hits floor*
extra thumb up for sharing the src!
extra thumb up for sharing the src!
Having the 32k of ROM for lookups surely helps, but the presentation, scroller, colors, and music all are very impressive for a 128b RAM machine!
very impressive effect. enjoyable to watch
Amazeballs really!
Awesome effect and well synced to the music as well. The scroller is nicely done as well. And thanks for the scrolly mention ;)
great and faaaast rubber cube :D
What they all said. Coool stuff and lovely technical writeup as well.
nice one ... you get a thumb up if you do it in 4k ... 32kb is well :)
I love clean scenes and since this does deliver exactly that on a machine I would never ever thought be able to handle it, this deserves my thumb.
oh mai!
Stunning!
Crazy, sexy, cool! :) Congratz!
cool
amazing work!
Proper YouTube req!
po bożemu
OMG! it's crazy :) polish word "szacun" or "zlo"
Awesome, thank you!
This was pretty impressive indeed.
Fantastic! :)
sick shit :D
Cool rubber and rad tune for the VCS. Nice write up too.
Clever use the graphics objects to get two colors per line like that. My ponderings on flat shaded cubes have revolved around three colors per line (plus background), which limits the resolution a bit too much. In other words, some clever cheating going on here :]
A bit surprised that SvOlli claimed you can't make a wider scroller. The trick you're using is similar to what you can do on the NES for sprite scrollers..

I was surprised about that music <3 Neat stuff!
Great job KK & Kylearan
KK I love your synth :)))
KK I love your synth :)))
Not bad, but it is too long.
Rubber vectors on VCS? Oh my.
Yep
really amazing! natsu no gomu style eh? :D
VCS magik!
What?!?! This should not be possible! :-)
Awesome!
Awesome!
insane in the mainframe
Holy shit, VCS can't do that!
sounds and looks cool :)
2600...
O_o
O_o
I cannot truly assess the technicalities involved here (what little I know about 2600 does not really make me want to learn more :) ). Nevertheless, compared with your last demo, the coder in you clearly overtook the designer this time around :)
Shame about you leaving the oldschool, but the best of luck in exploring modern platforms.

Awesome effect and a fantastic write up. Thanks Kylearan!
:)
Awesome !
so great
Wow!
Haha, reading nfo was more amusing than the demo itself! :)
Also for src releasing.
Also for src releasing.
Impressive (what can be achieved on such a Platform) and well designed.
True hardcoreness!
GoGoGo VCS!
Groundbreaking and breathtaking! And considering how terrible the VCS' sound capabilities are, this demo still manages to sound decent on it!
damn nice rubber cube for 128b
cool
Can't wait for the textures! Keep it up! :)
great fx! you rarely see a world first effects nowadays.
Great tech, nice music considering the limitations.
another impossible demo :) amazing
That's what you get with unlimited skills and limited resources.
Both effects are totally outstanding on their own and they make up a perfect screen together.
(... scratches 3 items from the VCS todo list :-)

Really impressive
haha, only just noticed this. Only amiga makes it possible... and VCS too! :P
Awesome !
Oh yes! Very impressive twisting cube on VCS!

This is a traditional oldschool demo about world firsts, without any originality. I needed a break from working on a concept demo.
The .nfo file contains a technical write-up, as usual. Source will be released shortly as well.
