Significantly above average for a quick demo. Sleek prod. Funky tune. Fractal landscape was great. Grows on you after a few sessions. Well optimized, locked 60FPS on my GTX 660 @ 1.3Ghz.
Unfortunately, resolution selector with...4 resolutions...2 of which are non standard. Sadly had to watch at sub par resolution for my setup. I'll let it slide because done in 3 days with no sleep.

Yes, this is definitely a party version. The aspect ratio is hardcoded in the demo so that's part of the reason for the limited resolution options. Many things were sacrificed to get it ready for the party.

Very slick production done in a short period of time. Has the right feel and right vibes. Expect more from us as we grow as a team on this platform. Special props to Drift, N3XU5 and Anthrium who put in the hard work here.
I must say though, for a party version, on the big screen, this was insanely epic. Well done for first place, you guys truly deserved it :D.

Brilliant!! Top prod. Deserves a heart. The pc scene and releases have been flat for months now and this has changed everything. Nice journey throughout the demo, new effects, pleasant gfx and a feel good tune. Well done drift for benchmarking the Australian demo scene! :)
some nice fx in there, could use a bit more polishing to make the effects a bit more interesting than just fractal flybies and the soundtrack sounds very 64kish ;)

Definite thumbs up for the nice change of phase as far as the soundtrack goes! Not produced exactly like I would've done or liked it, but I prefer something like this by at least a couple orders of magnitude so some generic x-step/dnb or whatever incested styles happen to be popular at the moment.
Visually it's like a beefed up 4k intro, but of course that means it looks and is directed much better than your standard intro. I really dislike the logo stuff, but man those tunnel effects (particularly the greets one) are sweet looking.

Really cheesy and glitzy and the relationship between the music and the visuals could be better. That said, some of the scenes are truly beautiful and it's got a nice oldschoolish vibe.

Oldschool spaceflight in a new dress. I am most happy to see you guys having worked out this demo just fine. Also i am very happy that this is a dub/wub free zone. A very enjoyable ride from start to end. You guys did a good job here that will hopefully lead into more fruitful cooperations in 2015. :)
Whereas I made a 2001 demo in 2014, here's a 1996 demo in 2014, with some more or less generic raymarching scenes replacing what used to be fancy bitmap effects. It's bold, it seems to copy that certain tunnel-through-deformed-grid thing Rez likes to do, so here's my thumb.

Oh, really nice music (although mixing is way off and some sounds alias), very good scenes although bit disjointed from each other, but nice colors. I like it, smooth atmo.

Thanks for all the kind comments. It was definitely meant to capture the feeling of an old 1990's megademo, which suited the theme of the party.

This had some things I don't usually care about (the grey cube!) but the consistent style and relaxed atmosphere make me just sit back and enjoy it. Even the fractals looked interesting!

+ Beautiful graphics, like a movie, this, I probably last saw only Hurtquake
+ Very good sound (thanks for the link on Bandcamp)
+ Qualitatively packed. On my GTX 650 and AMD FX 6300 is to run without lag.
+ Special thanks for the category Greetings and credits at the end
- Menu resolution could have been done a little better, auto-rendering with autoedjust resulution of monitor.

I love (good) 2D graphics in demos, thanks for that! Some effects are nice as well, but it all looks a bit random. Still, thumb up!
Pleasant, polished and colorful all the way, goes for the music and 2D graphics as well, so obviously the style is coherent. No really awesome part, but good flow and I enjoyed the fractal landscape styling. At least until the dreaded, inevitable cube (which, let it be said, didn't annoy me as much as I thought it would).
