Easily the best Elude release so far. Stylish visuals (except for the last scene which seemed unfinished), no murky diarrhea textures, awesome soundtrack. Should've won by a mile.
While I do really like the more bombastic elude demos, this has a certain degree if sophistication that might just push it beyond the earlier releases. Cool effects, nice design and music. I would've liked some color, but this works in b/w too.

Good demo. In my opinion, it's technically better than TBL one in some parts. What a pity that there is no colors and 2d graphics inside.
Never got much out of Elude demos, to be honest. This one also suffers from low framerates (of course not on Youtube :P), dull scenes, lack of graphics, and the overall demomaking-by-the-numbers/seen-it-all-before dilemma.
Quite nice, even though ab it too relaxing for my taste.
i have a lot of love for this. nice flow, goes great with the soundtrack and i really like the first part. it's all done with style and taste.
Lovely demo, my favourite from the compo. The first part is excellent and there is a coherency and a nice flow in this demo. The only complaint is the speed of things, some scenes would have been better with less things in order to gain some speed.
Who needs colours?? :) Laid back style with relaxing soundtrack.

Loved the tune, and has some really stylish effects. Has the edge over the TBL demo for me as a whole presentation.
I get why this got second. Because the TBL demo had more in your face stuff and kick ass music. But I like the music and slow pace visuals in this demo, it's really relaxing. And the particle effects and many cubes and general grayness and blurry filters where so fitting. Cool stuff!

@youtube version: some code really is meant to run slow so recording it on uae breaks first part significantly. also doing any color adjustments on shitty laptop screen can only backfire on you and the blacks are too crushed at some places.

@kiero: didn't you have some sort of flag (- slow?) in one of your demos to make it run slower/more accurate on Winuae? I'd love to have an option for this demo too.

best looking modern amiga demo imho, manages to look like modern pc demos, instead of the usual dos pc like look. awesomeness.
I watch it over and over again. Every time I like it more. Awsome music and preety nice effects. But, honestly, I expect more from Elude as a fan :) This should not be farewell demo, guys ;)

Really good demo! The first effect is top notch and congrats to Hoffman for the great song, Elude roxx. Please stop next year as we need 4 years to do a demo, maybe we can have more than 4 demos next revision.

Everything seems so perfect in this demo...The selection of b/w for relaxing was great and gave a bit of classy on it
So nice flow supported by fantastic music. I very like the overall BW graphics. Framerate is very good, scenes are beautiful. Well TBL had few rocking scenes, but also some weaker ones. This demo is more coherent and I slightly prefer it against the winner.
I wish next year Skarla, Loonies, Elude, Mawi, TBL, FD, ... all compete together. PC scene would be sooo embarrassed.

I like the effects and the music but as a whole the demo doesn't work for me, can't really say why though, maybe because of the missing colors.

Yes, nice prod, not your best demo, but still, very nice to watch at.
The clipping bugs on the sides were really annoying, but other than that I really liked the demo. And the music was awesome.

How do these Amiga people get their greyscale demos so extremely stylish?
I have to admit that the scenes seem a bit randomly compiled and merely held together by the fact that they're all greyscale, but they simply suit the music, the low pace and the overall mood perfectly.

I really like how tranquil and confident this demo is. Cutting-edge, but not in your face; stylish, but not overly stylized. It exudes a feeling of accomplishment—you guys don't need to prove yourself at this point and will earn every bit of praise you deserve just by being all-around kickass demomakers. One of the easiest thumbs up of my life.
