Android \o/
The lighting looks interesting (though a bit glitchy at times). I've been working with something a bit similar maybe, would love to see a post about it in directtovideo :)

Looks and sounds great but seems to randomly crash on my Nexus 4 and doesn't keep the screen from turning off.
Couldn't hear music, and only got black screen \ Android (Galaxy S3). Watched the stream however. Cool demo!
looks great on a nexus 10 :) like the sync, especially on the liquid/bass resonance, but could have done with some strong colour ala dead roman to break up the visuals.
Update of lighting bugged a bit, but otherwise looked fine. Missed some colour. Music a bit bland. Watched on nVidia Shield.
Any chance of a video for us with old Nokia phones? :P
love it!!! I've actually just had a demorgasm. :)) works great on htc one.
Preacher: Bluestacks works.
If you get Bluestacks to install. It wont on my system for months now.
Video already plx!
My "computer" cant handle this, it´s still residing on Android 2.3! ;(

Visuals look rather nice!
I had exact same problem as raina on a Nexus 4 as well. Didn't try another device yet, though we have several different devices at hand in the office.
My guess is that it's a specific audio fomat decoding library that's not supported/present on the given handset (I've experienced several problems with this in regards to different video formats on Android devices before)
I'll keep my thumb untill I hear lug00berss sound! :)

Sorry - it's a mix of raina and rudis issues - saw no crash yet, but I don't have sound, and the screen dims during the show.
just installed this on my s4 (active):
its runs rather nice, apart from the screenlock kicking in theres another issue however: it doesnt turn the phone into landscape mode but uses whatever direction it has when starting the demo.
it looks rather interesting in 9:16(?), but renders all text unreadable since it is cut off.
the demo itself is brilliant, following the fairlightish tradition of the invite now here is the real deal ;).
The track by lug00ber is very cool and not your usual dubstep - is there a (longer?) download version up somewhere?

Compo watchable here
Nice one, though I was only moderately entertained. Everything is almost there, it just doesn't tickle my fancy to the full extent.

O_o--b
nice stuff!
Surprisingly enough, this actually runs acceptably on my Galaxy S Plus (Adreno 205).
But yea, as mentioned... rather sloppy code... doesn't force landscape, and doesn't prevent the lockscreen from kicking in... Makes it annoying to watch (you have to periodically touch the screen).

Great stuff, even if not considering the platform!
Love the concept, but also what noby said.
Watched it quickly on the stream, and looking forward to a decent capture so i can see the details. Looks pretty good. I like the concept (guessing it's inspired by that projection mapping video with the robots. Lighting looks great.
yes yes yes yes yes
wow really loved this one, great idea and execution, music is really uplifting, excellent work!
Ok for being your first Android demo. You'll get a motivational up-thumb if you fix some of the Mali incompatibility issues.
*cue for a joke that we already established in 2004 to have incompatibility issues*
nice one. haven't considered bluestacks could run those android demos. it glitched on native apps and games. ran it pretty good tho.
Looks and sounds really cool - at least the first minute I saw of it before the screen blacked out :)

Exactly what psonice said, nice demo and concept :)
feed me lice.
!
nice and quite smooth on galaxy s4
Black screen on lenovo p780. Hopefully will try on Google Nexus 7 at home.
nice lighting, but without such a nice soundtrack it would actually feel rather dull.
ok demo. nice atmosphere.
It doesn't work on my iconia tab a1-810 (4.2.2, powervr sgx544, black screen, nothing else), but i'm sure it's nice :)
didn't work on my friends HTC One, demo started but then crashed and locked up the phone after about 5 seconds.
Had some really nice moments and I especially liked the music!
smash: still just a black screen on my SGS3 :/
video plz
carsh on my alcatel one
Fucking nice.
Black screen (music works) on good old SGS2. Should be gles2 device though afaik.
Only black screen and sound on my Samsung Tab 3 8" running 4.2.2
Awesome demo, worked flawless on a Nexus 4 :)
Music sounds nice, but only black screen here on an Sony Xperia Sola with a Mali 400 GLES2 capable GPU.
I really like the demo, but the camera shaking is just aweful - it makes me seasick
No go on a Fairphone, not even sound. It has a quadcore Cortex-A7 and a PVR-based GPU. Android 4.2.2.
Nice! Works fine on my HTC One Mini (Android 4.3)
I got "E/libEGL ( 5473): called unimplemented OpenGL ES API".
Suspect there's something wrong with the context allocation (like not explicitly setting the context version to 2), in addition to the "<uses-feature android:glEsVersion="0x00020000"></uses-feature>" which is missing from the apk manifest.

Neither the fix worked on SGS3. Specs: Mali-400 MP, 17 ext., Android ver. 4.1.2. OpenGL ES 2.0. Shading language: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 1.00.
Shading language too be 2.0 (GLSL 2.0)? I can prolly dump a list of the whole spec + extensions if needed. There are 17 extensions on my device.

nice and works fine on Nexus 7 (2013)
Black screen on Galaxy Note 2
YouTube, recorded realtime rendering within BlueStacks:

I wont thumb this down, due to being a party version!
But so far i don´t like it at all!
Fixes:
- Light-"sphere"
-> add more polygons! even if that means you have to have 2 models for "spheres" ;) (Its at that point the only sphere in the scene anyway!)
- DoorOpens()
-> add sound to music, this obviously kills the atmosphere instantly!
- Music:
-> Remove Vocals! (this one is maybe only my preferrence, do whatever you want, its your demo!)
Smash:
In general i completely agree with your attitude to show stuff that is for nextGen-Hardware, BUT only if it atleast runs on a framerate close to 25. But you seem to have went beyond that! Wanting to show sth vs. the actual framerate it gives is sth you still have to get in control of! Learn that ffs!
I have to admit i only watched the youtube, which seems very low on framerate, but its a constant in all of your releases, people keep ranting about it, so maybe you should keep those demos back for some 1-2 years until people kept up with their hardware! It´s just not kewl to start the newest fairlight-release only to find out you should stop it right away once again to try it in some years again! ;)
I am doing 4ks and i have to deal with it myself as Graphics-Cards still dont deliver the power thats needed for some scenes i wanted to present, but atleast those scenes still reside on my HDD and i havent put em in some 4k, just to show off! :p
Your goal should be to deliver HighTech-Graphic-Rendering while staying ~30fps on middleEnd-Hardware! :p
Sorry for ranting inbetween trying to show you what´s wrong!

yeah, may be! (i said i watched the YT only!)
But its a general thing with your demos i was ranting about! ;)
about this demo: it´s almost boring compared to what you delivered in the past! ;)
I´ll wait for the final to put my thumb, will make sure to watch on real hardware, capable of this! ;)

Nicely done, but well... the idea had potential for a bit more...
Fairlight meets Bot & Dolly.
Great music, cool effects.
Great music, cool effects.
oh yes, feed me goddamn lies you bitch. :D
Love the Soundtrack!
Nice enough
It´s remind me this http://vimeo.com/75260457
Reading this thread, the old Java adage "write once, test everywhere" seems to be alive and kickin' ;)
Nice camera movement, nice soundtrack, all in all simply well done.
colourless, unimaginative and boring. probably worst android demo so far. nice music though.
Gets a bit boring after a while but the visuals are great. Same for the music, cool track.
Stunning!
music is okish, content is okish too. but it looks fucking great.
Looks and sounds great on youtube, but I only get a black screen with music on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Something I need to do before I run it?
music feels disconnected from the visuals
superb job with great visuals and outstanding soundtrack!
Same black screen and music only on my ancient Samsung Galaxy Note 1 (ARM Mali 400)
me too !!! Black screen 5sec (music works) Galaxy note 3
First launch 30s ;(
GPU Adreno 330 ^^ OS Android - 4.4 KitKat
Thanks for patch ;)

This prod only work for NVIDIA GPU ??? :)
Needs more Destop, but ok for a small techdemo. Also: runs on Jolla phone. :)
oops, forgot this.
the visual concept is partly interesting (esp. the last scene) and the music has a nice 90ties vibe.
but all in all it's too monotonous for my taste and the music feels disconnected from the visuals.

yeah, best of the show - good idea (somebody has been watching too many vimeo videos eh :-)) but I wish it was reserved for a grand pc demo.
Works fine on my Samsung 7562 DUOS, but I have to agree with v3nom about the camera shaking. Hurts the eyes a bit, but I bet that can be fixed! Good demo!
Very good demo! BUT the idea I have seen in Box
I like this a lot. Music rules.
Sweet. Got no device to watch it on, though. :)
Very stylish.. like it
ace! <3
Dont have platform to run on this, but what a great soundtrack!

Great design, direction ideas.. entertaining and nicely polished. I like highly focussed stuff like this :)
Not bad. :)
Big thumb for Demolition on Android!! :) More! (But what tomas^ed said.) The demo is REALLY dark, so for 10 seconds at the beginning you see nothing and the cube waves before the horizontal black voxels are very hard to see. So max out your brightness setting. Performed well on Xperia Z.
I see what you did there.
Nice
I agree it's better on a device than on the YouTube capture; works fine on my Nexus 5. (Well, except that if I try to rotate the screen, all visuals hang and I have to kill systemserver to get the phone to work again… urm.)
But I can't help to shake the feeling that this is a little bit boring. :-) Also, seriously, guys: 63MB for a mobile demo? For _this_ mobile demo?

i have basically the same specs as raer with one additional extension called GL_ETC1_RGB8_OES.
I like the visuals.
Pretty good work!
No visuals just sound on my outdated tablet, so thumb up for the sound! :)
@rudi: I have that here too, as a texture format. Probably what GL_OES_compressed_ETC1_RGB8_texture implies.
nice.
pretty strange having a point light source cast shadows..
nice
smash: well then fix it so we dont have to judge it by the YT capture :)
nice idea !
Runs perfectly smooth on my €140 phone.
What Pixtur said.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 here, ran fine.

Got a new phone. Now it works! (Android ver 4.3. Samsung S4).
this works on a $30-50 4.4 LG Optimus Fuel / L34C!
Unfortunately doesn't work on my Cyclone Explorer. Judging from the video, it's a neat demo.
Music is great...........!
Pretty cool.
Did not run on my Nokia 8210 from the 90's but still great!
5/10
Fairlight
worst fridge ever
Nice
yes
yes!
Never thumbed this? WTF? The screenshot frightened me back in the days, because I thought it was a projection mapping (like it’s inspiration „Box“) and this was some weeks before I was going to release „Light & Magic“ at Revision 2014. ;o)
Latest bluestacks doesn't work, can someone suggest the right version for this that works on win10?
bluestacks 3.60.89 did the job.

The concept works well and the soundtrack is superb.
The effects are great too.
On the downside, the rendering of the 3D stuff does not look very good, but it's hard to juge given the hardware.
