i'm having a problem under Linux. I have no SDL, so I cannot run the tool. I have downloaded it (libSDL-1.2.so.0 etc) and copied it to the folder where i decompressed sunvox. Still it doesn't work. What do I do?
added on the 2010-03-29 20:06:11 by iq iq
iq, put this lib to /usr/lib or just install SDL from official repository of your Linux distr.
rulez added on the 2010-03-29 20:32:04 by NightRadio NightRadio
I don't have write access to /usr/lib, and I'm not sure I can install anything anyway. Well, will not polute this thread anymore, will try the Windows version.

Linux does not look in current directory like windows does. Put the lib somewhere and then add that directory to LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Or, if it is in the same dir, start the tool like this:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./sunvox

I bought this for the iPhone after downloading this version! Very cool! :)
Apps @ 4€ is really a price everyone can pay.
The app store on the iPhone makes this kind of purchases really easy :)
Very nice app, the iPhone screen is a little small but... is portable, i will have this app everywhere i go!

one of the (forgotten?) gems that had an impact even outside of the scene.

I never really took this seriously, because it always looked like a very messed up buzz clone. And in a way it is exactly that, but it's not as inaccessible as I thought it would be. :)
