Very nice voxel effect. I'm guessing there is some heavy precalcing going on during the times where the logo is on the screen ;-)

Thumb up for the efx! 40kb is a very interestig category to me.
Some of the best voxels I've seen on this hardware level. Cool music too, though the main groove is the best part of it, that snare sample and the non four-to-the-floor drum parts aren't really fitting imo.

great tech, but I would have preffered it done in the nexus 7 way, which also works on psichovisuals and gains speed through that. or take a look at fruitkitchen.
I mean, okay, we have many colors and speed, but the tradeoff of big pixels is not appealing. Unamigaish. How about less bitplanes more pixels, nicely dithered?

Oswald: I actually also prefer the Nexus 7 kind of voxels (and the ones in Electrons at Work by TEK). I'll probably give those a try in some later prod :)

I hate long prerenders but prerender speed still impressed the hell out of me! So just because voxel+chunky is not my cup of tea there's no denying Britelite excels at this and this quality version he made for OCS deserves a tech-thumb.
Photon: there's no prerendering going on though, the obvious precalc pauses are only for generating the landscape.

That music is not my stuff, but nice effects for 40K and good syncing makes me wanna thumb this up
Britelite: I thought this was a classic "shifting of real-time work into object-dependent tables" where precalc becomes prerender. Your explanation on IRC made it clear it's not a pure prerender, so grats on fooling me completely!! I really couldn't see the mainloop for this one so yes, I'll be happy to have a look @ DS2014 :)
