Pure awesomeness!
Simply awesome! I'm always saying that Spectrum 16K has a potential! Justin Beeper rulez big time!

funny!

Nice.
Thumbs up for the title. The speccy beeper makes this music even more unbearable :)
Gasman, the ultimate spectrum pop star!
:)
Color'n'coolest demo for 16K Speccy ??? Get It! Well done Gasman !!!
oooh
We were NOT cheating!!! ;-)
Great prog anyway, I'm kinda shocked. :)

OMG! BEEPER DEMO =)
:D
sweet sixteen.
Very nice prod :)
Ah:)
cool!
You're just awesome :D
Another one of those "Gasman doing new tech so smoothly that you don't even notice" trips
Yes, i must admit, the sound is TERRIBLE. But thumbs for having sounds and effects in slow ram!
thumb for needing only 16k of slow ram on a crappy architecture. :)
edhellon: nothing crappiest than c64, certainly.
cool!
Beeper thumb!
cool
Why i need to buy PentEvo then?
yay
Live w00tage
Was just getting into that scroller info when it was cut off, ah well, seen it now on the main vid capture. Impressive.

beep0r!
What all said.
For the platform, name and beepy/scratchy music. But complaining about having "only" 16k doesn't seem fair to us VCS folk who have sqrt() of that to work with :)
Cheers for the greetz Gasman :)
I think this is one of those rare prods where the computer gets pushed until it hurts, and you can hear its pain in the audio and see it in the effects. Call me a masochist but I like it.
I'll try this on actual hardware at some point, as I have an AY-less 16k (upgraded to 48) at home :)

As a musician I have to give props for the beeper music, not that I particularly liked the tune but it's a fun device to work with, and needs more love :). The demo is very nice too!
Cool effects, but music was odd/weird. :/
First time I get greets in an actual demoscene prod :D Amazing you got done with realizing the demo so quickly. Like it quite a lot.
This is what demos on an original spectrum look like? Why do we even have C64 vs. Spectrum flame wars? Or am I missing something? Even Atari VCS2600 seems to be a more capable demo platform.
Thumb up for daring to code on this, thumb down for the platform ;)

calexico: another sad c= owner. It's not any "original spectrum", it's an abanoned model, like C=116.
At one point I agree, I don't know why we have vs. Spectrum flame wars as demos for real Spectrums: 48 and 128 kill everything on sad gray C64.

you try to take the moral high ground by pointing out calexico's platform centrism, yet you are no better with your comment, johny...
For those people who have an incomplete understanding. Carefully read the scrolltext in the demo. It goes into more detail on the extra layers of shite that have to be overcome to code on the 16k Speccy, in comparison to all of its more endowed siblings.
Again something original! Thanks! By the way, I realized how difficult was coding of the first games for ZX Spectrum 16K - I mean those by Psion or Ultimate...
AlphaC: BULLSHIT. The "calexico" guy's text is as idiotic as I'd say that the real one and only Commodore is PET and that's how we should judge possibilities of a modern CBM mainstream.
His statement was MORONISH.

Top Speccy action!
Beepron ;)
perhaps some effects are a bit blocky, but this one-screen demo kicks asses! Nice!
Thumb up for the name !
cool stuff
was cool
Old good beeping Spectrum!
decent effects and strange music :]
Oh boy, a demo with the effects that look complete even if simplistic enough. Even better when it works on any Spectrum machine FOR REAL.
Really cool! Fantastic!
this is real hardcore, fantastic work
fine
Name thumb, and the prod itself is pretty good as well!
It's hard to find a decent 48K demo for Spectrum, for 16K is almost impossible. Good prod!
Pretty good considering you have to run the music and the display simultaneously in slow RAM.
Enjoyable, and not even had bleeding ears after watching the prod!
the sound... I just can't
