Good graphics, sounds, simple gameplay mechanics, however to be honest I was bored. It might make a nice game for smartphones though.

The game is OK. Reminds me of Fast Food, but not as hectic.
When using the shift keys, both keys can't be pressed at the same time. Not sure if this is an issue with the game, Windows, SDL or just the way keyboards work.

i would have introduced the items to NOT collects step by step, first game was kinda confusing ...

I stand corrected: My toddler seems to like it after all, he just doesn't understand that he has to jump to eat non-healthy food, avoid bombs and chainsaws. But he takes quite a go jumping and jumping ;)

I would recommend to introduce all the good and bad items to eat step by step so people learn what items to avoid what to eat ...
Normal people dont know about "nightbacon" and "demoscener like meat" habitudes.

Also you could have even sold this as "You unlocked a new item" function ...

The "gluttony" mode is also a great addon, maybe with a timelimit ... Eat what you can in XX seconds :) But there then "combo" bonusses are needed to make people really hot to eat each item on the screen, once the "row" is broken points go back to normal mode ...

Sorry if i bother you with all my ideas ...

xTr1m / _H2o_: toddler mode will be included as "blitz". you get one minute to eat as much as possible. no bombs, no chainsaws, lots of combos possible.
