A Kick Ass demo !! Available in Software And Hardware. All the graphician have done a BIG work! The demo is big but it's a must have!

A very nice demo. Good work from graphicians. Only one problem, i have only 64 Mo, and for a good speed it need 128 :(

Big but nice demo by Cocoon. Again their dusky style that rocks presented via pulling visuals and nice music.

a good sequel to Shad1, but this one lacks a bit of design IMO, too bad the music wasn't done anymore by traven (his music was awesome in Shad1) and some people will not like it at all because of the soundtrack and the mood ... anyway i still like it because there is a lot of efforts and the code is nice, the gfx are great and the 3d is impressive ... simply

good graphics, i like some textures

good code but need lots of RAM it's too bad (for the year of the release) for now, 128Mo is the minimum for win$ platform.

but not good music (commercial?) it's too bad (for the little history, the music should be made by a scener wich i dont want to name here, and this scener do nothing 5 days before the party, so they must use another music to release it for the deadline party democompo)

now i can see it at more than 25fps, and it's rocks, i see it more and more and i finished to like it, a must see for sure, a must have too

impressive work, once again, but it doesn't have the same incredible atmosphere as shad1 had, possibly due to the fact that coptic rain's music isn't the same dark style as traven's from shad1. graphics are top notch, as is to be expected from nytrik.

nice graphics, but i don't like that oh-we-are-so-very-evil-and-shocking-image they give themselves (especially by the music). and shad1 was way better.

I don't know where you get your "exclusive infos" from, but they aren't right at all.

FOR THE LITTLE STORY, it's true didn't do something 5 days before the party, I did it 3 months before. The reason they gave me for using another music was mine was too short. But guess what, the one they used is 30 seconds shorter that mine. (actually I did 3 tunes not only one).

So please check your sources when you can't back them up. And please do something about your english skills.

By the way where did you hear that "little story" ?

They had a soundtrack by the musician of shad 1 at hand and decided to use some ripped metalcrap instead.
This must be one of the lamest storys I've ever heard.

I like this one more than Shad 1. Maybe because the music hits you much harder (try growling to the track, great fun! :), and maybe because it has only two loading parts, not four.
I especially like the idea when the camera goes down on the fat guy's mouth.

I think shad 1 is better, i don't like the soundtrack. I think the demo is a bit boring at the end and the music started to irritate me.

No sir, I didn't like it.

The demo looks as though a lot of work went into it, but my only thoughts while watching were, "So what..." And when it seemed to be over, a second part appeared, which was no different than the first.

The music really got on my nerves, and it's even ripped!?!

This one suffers,I think, from "over-design": Too many transparent layers of text and too many pointless foreground images.

Also, I thought a lot of the ideas were quite puerile and tacky - like the train with the gruesome face and the spiky-outfitted woman in the monster's belly.

Seems ironic, but it would have been better had the artists done less work towards it.

When the music does not fit the demo, then, adapt the demo :) EXCEPT if u don't have good relationship with the musician : in that case, why bother an artist if u don't use it's work ?

wow this demo is surely underrated ! code & graphics are very nice and there is a really gloomy ambiance in this demo, i love it.
Of course, im really disappointed that traven's tunes weren't used, since i love his music.

our coder Warhawk is a *huge* fan of Shad series and Cocoon style in general. he always wanted to do something similar.. which resulted in Sinum.. 8))
anyway, this type of demos (or pictures or videos or whatever) is not too much my cup of tea - I seem to have grown out of my gloomy decay-ridden NIN-inspired self-destructing obsessions when I was about 19 y/o. but I still kinda can relate. 8) this demo is a bit overlong and some parts really don't belong there, but the sheer aggressiveness of it still seems to awaken some deeply hidden dark corners of my soul.. 8}

I enjoyed this demo alot.
I wish there was more like it, sure better than haujobb's rap job IMHO.
But it's just preferance. I can say a demo with rap music/style is boring, irrates me.. etc.. doesn't mean it's not good to someone else. Anyways, amazing job :)

the music is damn masculine, and the demo follows the rough lines the music sets to it, it's visually very nice demo aswell, just bugs me that the accelerated version doesn't work on my computer.

Great graphics but codewise and in general utterly boring.

Pretty cool second part.

not better than the original shad. well, I was a bit dissapointed 'bout the music, but what the hec. 'tis a good prod.

The second part was awesome for its time.
The complete demo had a very good performance for a software engine. I did not try the dxd one because it failt here.

I like the style although I seem to remember it being a disappointment after the first shad. Mostly tunnels and some models with an attitude and a bunch of text and pics overlayed, the result is pretty nice.

I like the graphics, the mood and the music. Too bad it's ripped but anyway I just happen to worship that second song. And even though metal/industrial stuff is not my taste, it's good to hear something a little uncommon in the scene. Anyway, cOcOOn !
