Killer soundtrack let down by an empty demo. I remember being totally pissed off because this demo requires a twin texture accelerator... FOR WHAT? I've seen nothing in the whole bloody demo that couldn't have been done on simple accelerators or even software.

(Incidental note: the party version is a little different, and there's a 800x600 mode as well)

audio + visual melts up in a perfect unit of pure and solid entertainment.
this runs a bit too fast on a 1Ghz Athlon + GF2 tho. Fire it up!

Indeed, the soundtrack is really nice, but keep in mind that it's mainly a huuuuge rip from Upside down by Diana Ross ;)

it's not exactly a rip, it's a well done mix and the visuals fit very well to the sound...
that's the goal of a demo too.

yep. i instantly fell in love with this demo. great soundtrack. although when i saw this at the first time, teel's gfx card fucked up the textures...so it was quite weird then. ;)

Very nice look and colours and all... but also very empty. Maybe I saw far too many 100^100 layers demos, but this feels like there is missing quite some content. The music is just a 'upside down' remix, but ok.

cute lil' thing.. good filter-disco track. for those who consider it ripped, bear in mind that when this was released lots of pro recording artists (daft punk, bob sinclair, stardust, etc.) were doing the same thing and calling it their own.. uhm, as for the rest of it, funky colors, good simple style, fast code.. i was just really disappointed the little afro guy didn't dance :( he just stood there...

The b/w zoomer was nicely hypnotic, and the tentacles were nicely animated, although they weren't perhaps presented in the most awe-inspring fashion. Unfortunately I find the entire demos suffers from thought-out-but-generic design. (Huh? Well, I know what I mean, so there...)
