I consider bitflavour quite strong coupled with outracks. Therefore I was quite suprised to se that this was not what I like to call a "standard outracks demo" with simple graphics, few visual objects and strong colors.
This is really a demo to remember. More girls in the demoscene.

This prod is shameless - putting kittens in a demo (or anything) in 2009 is pretty much the new "chick+dragon" thing, you can have dead babies in the background and people would still go "KITTY ^_^".
That said, there's a certain tongue-in-cheekiness in the whole prod (not just the cardboard squiddie - for subtle clues, listen to the music), which just makes it adorable not only from the graphics perspective but also considering the mentality.
It's easy to use and abuse a cliche - but it takes skill to arm it as a weapon :)

I like it so much, but some details I would have love to see:
- Hand painted textures for everything. I know it would have been a lot of work and probably too many textures, but I think it would have make visuals better.
- Same size for all banding. Now it seem like there are banding much bigger than others... I would have prefer as all made by the same material, same size.
- I think it would have been very difficult to do, but enhancing realism on the borders with less linear cuts.
- And finally, a diffuse lightning model. I use to work with in photography with paper, and, in my opinion, the diffuse light works much better visually with this kind of artworks.
In any case, this prod is really great :) A big thumb up!

Gr8! Music rulz and so does the cardboard kitten! I'd love to see more of this stuff. Especially if you make handmade cardboard models (less computer, more Norge rundt treskjæring style!)

I agree with flipsides daughter. Thumbs up. Unique visuals, good sense of humour, loved the include kitten tickbox on dialog box. Stars inconsistent and not necessary and ending could be smoother.
