systemk hasnt quite reached the good point yet imho, but they're certainly in the right direction getting there. i especially like witnessing the oriental approach to this predominantly european scene of ours. they have a different aesthetic sense, which does transpire in some of the scenes of this demo and which i hope to see more of in the future :)
not a party winner demo, but here is your motivational thumb up for keeping at it, and showing up at breakpoint!

I liked this one, it was oriental. It was like a soothing refreshment in that burnpoint weather.

Hey, this is quite beautiful and well directed and I even liked it more the second time I watched it. Love some transitions like the scene were the window in white opens, the blobby drops, the girl with the umbrella and the whole japanishe aesthetic of course :)

Very nice. I like the decent style of this demo. Still there is room for improvement.

Like others said already, this prod has the style, atmosphere and aesthetic look a bit different from what we can usualy see. It resembles me of Seishiga M@Ds japanese editors make :)

Keep up the good work, improve transitions, direction and effects and you will rule.

Can't wait for your next demo.

And please work on your english so we can talk more fluent next year :D

Really nice demo in all the way : my personnal winner. Extra thumb for being present at BP. It was an honnor to meet you.

You seem to be on to something, but not quite there yet. There are nice scenes, for example the grassroot level flyby (crawl-by?) was cool in an odd way. Some other parts were quite awful to be honest, hence a pig.

Keep working, it's great to see real effort instead of routinely randomized shader parameters or cheap jokes.

For some reason this was shown among the crap entries at the beginning. I remember when I saw this demo on the stream I thought "Oh, now the real compo begins.." (which of course turned out to be wrong).
It's a solid demo imo. A bit mellow and slow-paced. None of the effects made you go "Wow", so I guess that's why it didn't place higher.

Very nice. I look forward to seeing a lot more from SystemK in the future, because this is really interesting.

Nice music and some pretty visuals (sunset, clouds in the end meta-drops).

I really adore this one. Too bad that it looks somewhat unfinished, otherwise it would be a real timeless entertainer

I thought Life on air was pretty good, but this too slow and repeative. The beginning looked nice, but after that, it didn't look very good imo. Also what break said.

Some of the scenes is very nice. some is not very nice.

the design in life on air was miles better (proper font choices, etc.), still, just the fact that this exists and kioku traveled around the world to enter it deserves a thumb.

ps is really right on this one, and I completely agree with Gargaj...but all in all a decent demo. The first time the power line scene was shown it was really ugly but it was very nice the second time...as a whole a bit more movement would've been nice. And I don't like the oriental approach but it's good to see something unique in the scene. You're definitely getting there :)

I kinda liked it. I think the word here is "cute" :D. The music has a quite touching vibe, even though there are some problems with the direction of the entire prod. There's nothing wrong with cutting the beat like that and have slow moving scenes, but it was a bit much in my opinion. The art direction and direction showed that there was a thought behind it all, but there's still a bit left to go until it's really great. For example, I didn't really dig the font selection. But some other stuff were really nice, e.g. the water drops and the choice of having the same scene in two different moods (daylight and sunset). Still, these are just my $0.02. Regardless a nice effort, keep up the good work :).

I'm agree with Aceman... it's obvious that you have the potential to do faaaaaaarrrr better !!

Looking forward to the day when SystemK breaks away from their cheesiness. That said, the visuals are definitely very nice. More JDemos please! :)
