Not really impressed. Doesn't compare to HBC stuff I've seen before in any area.

Same opinion as JDruid.
Direction and execution as excellent as usual, but somehow those are getting boring.

Meh.

While usually HBC animations are simply a lot of fun to watch in addition to being gorgeously rendered, this one seemed to be mostly a showoff of some nice 3D rendering and effects with little to show besides it (apart from the awesome, awesome soundtrack). I didn't like it very much.

ok when it finaly kicks in it's some funky ass shit, love that soundtrack and love the animation :)

I'd have to agree with those piggie people, it misses the usual crazy direction, funny presentation of past HBC anims (though it has still good presentation and great gfx, but not in the same spontanity (can't find the word) of other HBC anims). Still a thumbs up because this is still above good.

The music was really good, and you could see a lot of new stuff they're experimenting with which will sure lead to even greater stuff in the future... but this one is for the music

Not as striking as the hbc videos of old (er..), but still better than 90% of whatever else was in that compo.

huh? what story? was there a story? other than a space ship flying around and things getting blown up? i'm not impressed. this doesn't even have very impressive visuals. nice rendering? where? looks quite bland to me.

i used to be a fan but i'm really not impressed with this one...

story or no story, it's rare to see something so aesthetically pleasing as this.

Cute, good music and some funny scenes...but overall it was a little bland. Still a nice prod...but I think you have been successfully challenged.

It looks good and all, but for the first time I find myself not loving an HBC-prod. The soundtrack is also strangely disconnected and "all over the place". Weird.

Nice, but not spectacular. I have to say I didn't like it nearly as much as other HBC prods.

What gloom + diamondie said, but the quality is still more than high enough to earn a thumb up.

how this couldn't make place one is beyond me. that having said and while still the modeling, animation and that great soundtrack are top notch, this time I didn't feel those coming together quite that well compared to killers such as field trip. especially the first spacey part didn't really fit the 0.5bit cheese style of playful time scratching slow-motion impact madness. might have been a difficult concept though.
