oh that looks SO damn sweet... if it was just realtime... droooooooooool!
I smell some diffusion processes here ;)
Gorgeous as usual... and woah, 2404 bytes!
releasing in between partys is cool :)
Congrats, real nice.
That evoke tracks evening was awesome with you iq, greetings from Titan ;)

fucking yeah! <3
iq, i love you and your hat <3
nice
What [EviL] said.
cellulars never looked so sexy :)
Yeah, very nice! First when I saw a new 4kb procgfx from RGBA I thought 'which party did this one win?' ;)
Video looks amazing, judging from the time it took to render the image from the .exe I'm guessing we need about 100-1000 times speedier hardware before we get to see it in realtime (or faster code perhaps... ;)

Excellent!
at first i wanted to thumb it up like any one of you, *but*, personally i'm getting kind of tired of seeing the same basic trick (albeit gradually improved and applied with some artistic care) improved and improved.
bring us a kickass realtime alternative now iq, the time has come.

voronoi rulez :)
I have to agree with Niels here.
I'm sure it's phenomenal what you coders have achieved in this category, but for a non-coder like myself it doesn't mean much.
At least if you make it move and put it into an intro it will have the same technical appeal, but also entertainment value, which can't be a bad thing.

fuck yeah ... the colors remind me of organix, but the rendering is brilliant and so are the shapes
well...yeah :)
"#%&¤/
megacool shapes! Another killer proc 4k gfx!
@sdw : where is this video you are talking about?
Realtime? It took ~half a minute on my machine to make that one frame. So the algorithm only has to be 900 times faster for 30 fps.

O_o-b;
imressive for 2,35Kb! by the way, new prod type established!!!
wow
cool
Fantastic stuff!
rules
Very nice visual effect. The AO here is just great. Video is really great, love the camera movement. Distance functions are the new polygons. Im scared to think what the scene will be like when this stuff is real time. Great work.
Yup
loaderror: There was a link to the video in the nfo - http://www.rgba.org/prods/rgba_leizex.avi
Very nice, I love the video.
Sorry, I was mistaken...it does move! I'd still like to see it make up part of an intro, but I'll give it a thumb up.
this simply rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p
x'D . aival'ostia iq !
x'D . aival'ostia iq !
holy shit
damn, iq, you got to leave some place for other people too :D
hope to see some interesting info on your website about the 12Mb. video making (tricks?¿).
Is there a bit of motion-blur ? it also looks great

how is this a new prod type diver-4d?
I agree with Niels, by the way. Probably technically impressive but it's time for something different I think :)

Sweeeet!
Distance functions FTW! Very very nice work, iq.

The image doesn't look nearly as impressive as the video. I like the tiny floating parts we can see on the video.
YOU CRAZY BASTARD!
Great output!
wow : the video does look great
how about serious multicore support?
great. im looking forward to test it
oh and i was wrong... there is a slight chance that procedural stuff doesnt looks crappy.unfortunatly its only yours :D
Hmm, voronoi cells and distance functions... something rings a bell here... ;)
my hand hurts from thumbing up ;). How about releasing a gallery of all pictures so we'll be able to check from time to time?
bnozaj, I thought about starting a procedural graphics blog with large images of the productions on it but I'm too lazy. Maybe someone will see this and do it themselves...
Oh and the production is fantastic of course, hence the thumb.
What bonzaj said! I'm looking forward for the iq's procedural artpack. :)
how about releasing a 64k artbook - that would fuckin rule.
iq: don't listen to the people, keep having fun.
Don't listen to trace!
HOLY BALLS!
just amazing!
ubercool
NICE!
nice one
iq: With the voronoi cells and the detailed surface rendering, I think it is much more akin to Benitoite than Haumea.
... and yes, Tom is a great inspiration for us all. :)
iq: Then please please code something (demo/intro whatever) using DFs in realtime! Pretty please! ^^
very sweet indeed! finally some other form of noise than perlin!
Awating the Collectix pack ;D
slick!
bloody hell
iq : don't be shy... rgba_leizex.avi's makingoff please. :P :p :p
wow

Yes!
Awesome :D I really enjoyed the video :)
nive
Nice!
Video shows it rotating, but I didn't get that in EXE. Did I miss something?
Yes, you seem to miss a lot of things.
you miss yourself my poor friend...
Very pretty :-3
Game Boy port please! :D
Very nice!
Very nice!
damn!
awesome
really nice again, but i am missing some antialiasing for a perfect result
Awesome! Distribute the Video generating .EXE please :-)
I don't know why, but my cat seems to like this video very much... :)
nice vid
hehe!
IQ codes so hard, that he doesn't even have time to remove the christmas tree in a whole year.
Damn that looks good. Setting the bar quite high there aren't you :)
is that a christmas tree? you're a bit early, iq!
Fak kool again! Man, have you ever coded something in 256 bytes except grey tunnel?
aaaah no TV - now I understand...
utterly amazing stuff !
respect.
respect.
insanely megacool.
Fuck and You (positive way) :)
very impressive
!
O_o--b
rocks rules
no stupid comment needed
Stunning as usual
rulez, though texture is a bit blurry
From the first sight it looked being under strong influence of Tom's works. :)
OK then, maybe it's just me and and studying with Tom at the same uni for a bit too long. ;) Still, solid prod worth a thumb. :)
Enjoyed this one alot. Quality rendering.
You guys are crazy. The shadertoy version blew my mind as well.....
Shaders doing its best.
found a virus downloading from a mirror with this one, BE CAREFUL!
iq you rule!!
Yes, good one
Congrats again!
Don't be shy to release it on a party. More people would find this beauty that way.

Freeze only!?

replaced the dl link because the old one pointing to http://www.rgba.org/prods/rgba_leizex.zip was/is dead.
thanks for the realtime shadertoy version after 10 years :D
Haha - that’s awesome! Thank you for honoring my 10 year old request :)
Maybe I need to make more requests now, in order to have awesome stuff to look forward to in 10 years? :)

Milestone thumb here.
Thank you IQ for the pioneering work and knowledge sharing.

A really stunning image at the time (and still is). And mindblowing that this now runs in realtime :)
very late thumb
