um... it's like watching ASD's demos redone badly. sorry, needs much work to at least run smoothly.

Runs slow as hell on my machine and the 3D feels a bit outdated. It also needs better direction. More bad than good.

Ran fine here, but there's way too much content and not enough quality. Plus the camera paths are really bad. There's some good bits buried in there though.

Crashed on Vista SP1 with 8800GTX!?

not that bad
there's definitely some good stuff here and there but it's ruined by too much information on the screen. you can't get out of a feeling like "hu, eh, what? where?" hm... piggy

Hell of a lot of hard work went into this and I really respect that.

To give some constructive criticism: the 3d scenes seriously needed some shading/lightsourcing/fog effects. The whole demo moved way too fast and the cameras were jumping all over the place...and like pro summed up in his comment, it's hard to follow.

But there were some decent parts, like the cloud effects with the sketches in the foreground and the music was quite nice too.

looks like late nineties.

impressive amount of content, but presented in a not too flattering way. and i totally agree with wades criticism

Interesting to see the first big demo from extrait. There are some scenes that I like and some that are too ugly. I liked the idea to jump into the paintings and reveal new scenes. Maybe the camera was a bit jumpy and things were going too fast but I think it wasn't so bad.

thumb up for the amount of scenes and the constant flow through them (even if the framerate isn't smooth :p)

the girl statue is truly gorgeous!

This feels like a demo made by people who have watched a lot of demos. I saw a lot of Plastic demos inspiration in there, a little Debris, and even some Mfx cirka Aether in one scene there. I agree with the criticism that there is too much going on, and what Wade said about the 3d scenes needing some shading absolutely holds true. It looks too much like late 90's 3d demos.

I also fully agree with Wade's opening statement, that a lot of work obviously went into this. I don't feel like this production, as it is, is worth more than a piggy. - but it also means I will be watching this name more closely in the future. Will be interesting to see what they can come up with next.

Oh my, that was quite a big mess :/

Trying to hide bad graphics with nervous camera movements and overlaying everything onto each other is never a good idea.

The amount of work is apparent though, so piggy.

too much things at the same time but very few time to appreciate the huge amount of effort spent here. This groups seems promising :)

Here's some thumb support! While I agree that the whole thing seems a bit muddled, a lot of work went into this. I was completely floored when I saw that this got last place...IMO, should have been higher. Good work and I look forward to your next prod!

I thought this was quite cool, actually. Lots of stuff happening, kept it interesting throughout.

the blobs in the city scene was nice.. rest was scarily bad :(

The music pretty much ruined the demo for me. it was way to jumpy and hectic overall.
with the rest, i can only second Wade here.

I can see the work invested here, lots of content, kudos for that. The result is quite messy though, and a bit too fast-paced for my taste.
And I agree with Hamster... of the NVScene demos I've seen so far, I felt that this was certainly wasn't the worst, so that last place feels a bit undeserved :)
Still a piggy on my scale though.

What everyone else said. But: there was this one scene with scrolling 2d-drawings. I would really like to see a calmer, moodier demo done in that style. Give it a try!

certainly the best they can do, and certainly a lot they can learn :)

as many people said, lots of work there, but it looks like a hectic remix of the styles of some well-known groups. don't copy others, try to have your own style instead, and next time be a bit less eclectic!

ok, its not the best prod ive seen this year...but it shows that these guys have some potential. so heres my thumb up (specially bcoz i think that it should get placed a bit higher)

Awesome demo. It's a shame it looks so low res/poly.

It really didn't do much for me... it doesn't deserve a thumb down, but it wasn't spectacular.

A lot of work, clearly, just too bad it all looks so chaotic and random.. oh, and the music was just horrible.

grossomodo, very beautifully flowing and æsthetically cute demo. but on the other hand, it lacks shitloads of design-wise and technical proficiency. perfect this and you'll end up with yet-another-asd-demo which i am not sure if i'd take as something positive (for the sake of clarity: i love asd demos, it's just i'd like to think that, asd's style is... asd's and it's uniquely allocated as such).

all in all it is a piggy.
