I often see people trying to do modern CPU-intensive effects on an old machine... This one's interesting because it basically finds some new style on an old machine.. without the CPU being very important.

Amazing usage of both Speccy advantages and disadvantages. I think it's rather rarely seen that the color bytes in Speccy (for 8x8 pixels only two colors are allowed) are used so interestingly/nicely together with spread out pixels. Also music is IMO innovately utilizing the bleeps of the Spectrum 128 AY3 chip.
And I'd guess that the maths and processing utilize those parts of the Spectrum CPU that are significantly faster than eg. that on C64 (vector graphics etc. have always been strong on Speccy).

Nice demo with some really nice effects - swirls, etc. Not as nice as the first part IMO, and I've seen work from inward that holds together better (again IMO). But still a really nice prod.

gargaj: there is connection between the two O_o atleast we discussed it quite alot in the concept direction.. sucks that it doesnt seem to shine through that obviously..
it's one of the finest usage of multicolour on speccy screen. best demo of inward, even exceeds "the path". We want more!
ref: there is no multicolour in this demo. this two screen flickering technique is usually called gigascreen, or something like that, i am not sure if there is really a standard name for that.
