Good music and lots of nice code here!
excellent stuff. i remember being quite impressed with it back in the day.
Erratic. Some really outstanding effects and graphics, amazing music, but it just doesn't seem to fit together.
A punch from Mike Tyson can't deliver the same shock.
i was totally drunken on TP4 but this one was an eyecatcher for me! totally rocking music too!
excellent music and code -- vd power
As a usual Virtual Dreams demo THIS ROCKS! Just saw it again on my Amiga 1200, and it is still super cool. The visual and audio fits perfectly and synchronized when running on 68030... Rulez for sure!
This kicks major ass!!!!! The objects with two lightsources are the best!
it may not fit together, but the gfx, music and effects makes this one of my alltime favourites
totally rocks
this one totally blew me away. i think i have to re-watch it when i get home today...
This is the essence what demos are all about. I watched the AVI and thought "Hmm, it's kinda slow", then I saw it was recorded from an A1200 without fastmem.
Rules!
Rules!
This is love, even if i didnt like the music so much
Effects without design. Unfinished feeling. For it's time only few effects what stood out. Only the VD name is famous ofcoz. They could have done better. A nice demo anyway.
Some great effects, I especially liked the textured gel cube. The music are not my cup of tea. The pictures by RA rocks.
Powerfull music. And judging by the screenshot, I think it rules..
cube-maniacs.
Fake-TC rules.
Fake-TC rules.
one of the best demos of the decade. not as polished as nexus7, but the effects, musics and the whole thing kicks ass. one of my all time faves for sure.
a bit more work and then it could have been even better.
a bit more work and then it could have been even better.
the credits are incomplete though.. about 50% of the effects were done by tsunami..
and since the demo doesnt have a credits-part I was ofcourse talking about the credits in the info-file..
If I remember well, it was quite long with three parts. less design than other VD prods, but more code oriented. At this times, it was all about prooving what AGA (a1200, a4000) could do. Ah ! and it's also known for the RA (the best graphician ever) graphics. (same epoch as the nooon PC demos).
And stangely, the music of the intro is always in my head.

good graphics, good code, nice effects, powerful music...
this prod rocks !

nice
raw amiga powah, wonderfull soundtrack
no words can describe the smoothness of the opening starfield :)
cool one
Got my thumb.
Awesome.
Also I loved how it begins :)

Yeah, incredible intro part. The rest is very nice as well. Rocks!
Really great work in this one! Everything coms together, but the overall design lacks. Sorry to see something like this stand in the shadow of Nexus 7.
Finally I found this! ;p
roxx

the soundtrack is absolute dogshit!
We were astonished when we saw it at the compo!
teh shit
maybe the only virtual dream production that i don't like.
i don't put thumb down because of Ra's gfx, but the rest of the demo didn't fit with it (and i'm not a big fan og the music)

Great.
stunning. no fear 0) its a great demonstration.
Very demoish.
the history of my life!
It's my all time favourite demo. And maybe it's a bit roughI think it's part of the design. And btw both music rocks.
The music!
Thumb up for Julius' superb track. One of my favourite mods!! Too bad that the Amiga 1200 couldn't match the speed of the track :)
have we been watching the same demo? thumb down for wasting RA's beautiful graphics in this crap. it didn't fit in at all.
Blah, it all fits very well! The effects, the gRAphics, the music, the general roughness.. Raw demo power indeed, one of the best, ever!
this-means-powerdemo
agree about the stars and the design was superb
anyone know how or better said if this can be run on winuae? ;)
Im not advanced enough to enjoy modern design, I prefer the sheer cool effect after wow effect of this oldskool demo. This is great. Music very cool.
my heart goes pit-a-pat to this one
Classic
Good.
First half is just plain awesome and classic, I remember seeing this around early 1995 or so and it felt like a true jawdropper for some parts. Unfortunately the latter half does not really appeal to me, but thumb anyway.
Meh, wasnt good then, still not. (And pushed us to 3rd place)
impressive
The best unfinished demo I've ever seen.
Was really blown away back in 1994 after watching this one at my collegue's place. VD/FLT were a class above.
Really love the music and the ambiance of this one, even if the design is not really good and dislike the animation at the beginning.
But some fx were really cool and blasting so deserve a thumb up !

Nice!
The static phong shaded dragon/triceratops were coded first on Acorn Archimedes by ArmOric/Arm's Tech (he modified pov to output a list of normals) who explained it to VD's coder in a "Garden party" in France...

Despite its flaws, there are still so many individual things in here I absolutely love. Taking the music into account, this is probably my all time favourite Amiga demo. I wish I was back at TP94.
Shame on me for not giving this brutal demo a thumb up. I still recall seing this at TP94 and yelling fuck PC. Ohh want a young fanboy I was.
Some of the timings between the music and the graphics are still cool, and the music is still on my playlist ofcause. :)

Absolutely horrible music, causing almost physical pain. Plus it's very difficult to get the demo running on the first place: I had A1200+fast, A1200+030/50, A1200+040/40 and as far as I remember, it only worked with the first one. Doesn't run in WinUAE now too...
ahh, the memories... tp94... nice demo!
re-live the nineties :)
i DEMAND more CDCs :p
need to put one here heavily!
what a DEMO!

what a DEMO!
Whoa, never saw this one? Nice.
Rulez !!
Great soundtrack !
Great soundtrack !
great!
Awesome demo by VD/FL!
Great demo!!!!!!!
Overrated.. some of the better parts (like in the screenshot) are animations. The first tune is a Desert Dream imitation, and the second is awful. The logos by Ra are nice but do not fit the demo. Plenty of better demos from The Party 4.
ugly and overrated + really horrible music.
Great demo!
I sincerely love this demo. Music takes me back to '90.
Great music and cool effects!
Months before the party this demo had sky-high expectations. I was kind of dissapointed when 2 old previously released modules were used, plus no transitions whatsoever... I guess Skull had to release the demo even if it wasn't finished at all.
But, like mentioned before, there's some very nice effects to see. And it's a bit of Amiga scene history :-)

This is still one of the best demos ever made! Even if it's feels like a mixed quality bag of effects thrown together with a stunning soundtrack, it's still a massive demo!
Aesthetically bankrupt.
One of the rare really amazing AGA demos. That were the days...
nice tunes
The WHDLoad slave works fine in actual WinUAE builds.
great demo, lots of effects to see
Impressive ! considering that it works perfectly in a stock 1200 020/14Mhz + fast
It has some seriously awful looking parts. And the code doesn't seem particularly stable although it did use to work fine on B1230-IV and at least with the whdload patch it more or less works on 060.
But I love this demo. It's kind of a mess but with the music it just somehow works well and there are quite a few interesting effects.

Definitely rough around the edges at places and some parts just look gross but the music carries it, especially in the second half.
Amazing roller coaster. The roughness is part of the charm and works well with the insane speed. The music, especially in the second part, is just beautiful energetic chaos. What a prod!
Great production. Not the best transitions but great effects and the music is fantastic.
Unfinished, but the atmosphere and effects are unforgettable.
Great demo. Somehow I missed it back in the days.
I'm trying to run this in FS-UAE and can't seem to hit the right config. Anyone have an idea of why it might not run?
I did the assign psychedelic: ""
so this is 1994, i been looking for stuff to test how for my misterfpga goes with minimig but it seems to be wanting only adf and hdf files , guess i have some reading to do, great demo tho :)
Really awesome!
