Awesome effects... This 3d caleidoscope thing is something I haven't really seen before in demos. And fractal artists spend days with rendering videos that look like this :)

coder colors 2007! great effects, music was ok, colors... well, uhmm...

a bit on the ugly side of the palette, but this is still really nice.

the thumb goes for the geometry engine which looks really impressive - that said the sound is something i heard a million times before in 4k's and better, plus the four-to-the-floor music and the "standard" 303 bassline didnt help either :(

I usually hate 4ks, but I enjoyed this. Kudos for brave colourscheme!

I see your name in the credits but I fail to see M:ET. Thanks to him you released an ok 4k that could have been an excellent 4k with a few more hours of work.

Don't let those so called "group organizers" ruin your work, it happened too many times in the past and that usually only leads to average/rushed work that usually only pleases their ego, not the actual authors of the prods.
As the author of a prod, you should be the one to decide when it's mature enough for a release.

Besides that, keep up the good work, you'll gave my thumb with the final version. This version is quite promising, I wish you only released a solid final.

@keops : thanks for the detailed feedback. To clarify, no way did M:ET force me to release this, he just asked so I did - fairer to call this a lesson for me. Still, I know its flawed and we will do an update.

I love it! Rebels intros are getting better and better.

I think most 4ks are ugly anyway, but I liked this. Must be the "geometry". Since an update is expected, I'll hold my thumbs.

I actually enjoyed this very much, must be the music combined with the kaleidoscopic visuals. Does "the thing" for me.

added final: reduced effects, geometry etc and went for simpler , more metallic look, slowed it down. Thanks to stingray for help. Hope folks who didnt like party one think this is better.

Big thanks for final version, auld. People have complained about colors, but party version is more psychedelik. Great work, I have watched this intro more than 1-2 times.

auld: imho, you should read some graphic designer mags, a few basic pointers can go a long way. atleast stop you from thinking that fixing an ugly colorscheme is achieved by reducing them all into a neutral tone.

Whoa, party version was way better, and to my ears there's nothing wrong with the music. I like the colors and cam syncing in the party version.

i didn't like the music, composition was strange and so were the colors. but the effects itself were great. with little more effort (maybe some skilled designer could help), it would be blast!

I'm with psionice on this one. Coder colors it may be, but they fit quite well to the "coder geometry". The final version is boring in comparison.

oh yeah, once again, very cool 4k I'm 50 50 with the color. I like the code-colors for the first object, and the finalversion-color for the others... what would make the design very incoherent. Difficult to decide :) Anyway, congrats again (and it runs on my computer \o/)
