TMDC invitations have always been good, but I didn't like this one as much as most of the previous ones. The music was admittedly good, but the overall impression was a bit boring and the scenes looked fairly messy even considering they were in textmode.
libpoop is true to it's name, even located at 5 meters from the screen the result still looks like shit.
The music is totally out of place & doesn't fit the low & messy visuals at all, a chiptune would probably fit better.

i do not like it. Maybe you could consider different forms of anti-aliasing and careful adjustment of contrast and color balance, or something..

I seriously don't know the fuzz with these kind of textmode demos... just make some 80x50 effects and feed them to Sol's textmode renderer... that's all there is to it.
I mean, even the rules of TMDC don't allow to remap the palette or do fancy fonts tricks, which is where the originality in textmode demos was.
Seriously, 80x50 graphic renders done with ASCII chars are not impressive anymore... not to me, at least (your mileage may vary)

I like it but I have to agree a bit with Jcl that it feels like a regular demo run through a textmode filter. I've seen more interesting things done in textmode that use the medium better, for instance in the aalib test exe.
Now this is different and the soundtrack is da überbomb!

skaven's best tune in a long time. the slowly morphing visuals in the back are nice too. fast vector stuff just doesn't work as well in textmode.
