An observation from demostue:
This works A LOT better a low framerate (like 5fps). It mimics an old cartoon better, and makes some of the (minor) flaws much less visible.
Definitely recommend watching like this.

Thank you all for the kind comments! It was made with love. To put the record straight - this prod wasn't really made for javascript or Windows, it was just the closest categories I could find on Pouet. It is in fact a C++/OpenGL prod with a custom engine, cross-compiled to wasm using Emscripten because we wanted the maximum number of people to be able to run the demo on their machine, and to make it easy enough for anyone to do it.
The party version does run as a Windows app, through WebDemoExe (thanks WebDemoExe!) but making it run as a native binary is something we'd like to do too.
We also intend to release the source once we've cleaned a few PII things out of the repo.

Nice invitation - and the sound is from another world. Simply amazing.
The downside of an aging demoscene is the increase in self-referential themes.. but look, I'm an 80s kid, and I will take this Saturday morning cartoon nostalgia and enjoy it. Certainly visual direction and audio production have steadily improved over the years. Also, a cameo from Kevin! :D
As for the party jingle(s), I just hope they pick something more instrumental. Or change it to "R-r-r-revision". :) Can't be much more annoying than the 2023 jingle!
