The only thing I see that didn't work so well is the motion blur, appart from that it's perfect.

I was thinking... yeah.. ok but not that strong as previous 64k shown in the compo, only to realize that this is 8kB not 64kB. It should go one up together with the current 2nd place if only Farbed-brush didn't colorize peoples' mind with some tricked ecstasy drug during the compo.

Reading this comment (and the other similar feedback) made my day. Until the very last moment I wasn't sure we had managed to hit our target, a low key mood as you put it, that would resonate with the audience. :)
I've only noticed today that we broke it at some point. It was supposed to be a combination of stochastically offsetting the time for each pixel, and doing an additive blending with previous frames, which should have resulted in a reasonable motion blur. But for some reason the stochastic part only affects the bike, and not the environment.

The reason I find this prod fascinating is because it shows that direction is more than just cinematography and editing, it's also narrative and cohesion, both of which this prod lacks; sure, it's well shot, well lit, looks great, but the music doesn't fit the visuals and it goes nowhere and says nothing.
There's a ton of good effort here and a lot of great detail (the clothes flutter!), but it feels like an exegfx with a soundtrack bolted on.
