- 512b MS-Dos CGA Plasma
- Sweet, but 512 bytes is quite huge for such an effect.
Have a look at those 32 bytes (and less) variations of plasma / 2D CAs
Plasmosis 32b
Dirojed 32b
Dirojed CGA 32b
Earthview 32b
There are definitely more, but the setup is similar in all those prods ;) - rulezadded on the 2025-05-07 16:37:28
- 128b Linux MS-Dos This is the (one dimensional) Life!
- You called it and here it is ;)
Rudi did something in 128 then in 64 bytes, then i optimized it to 55 bytes and created something similar in 24 bytes
Totalistic & Edits
Tough to compare all those 1D automatons, but yes, 32 bytes for a decent one should be enough ;) - rulezadded on the 2025-05-07 16:31:52
- 128b MS-Dos This is the Life!
- Neat. You should also look in the sizecoding scenes latest advances regarding the game of life, in 32 and 31 bytes

- @saga, what a diabolic idea xD
I liked this one :) nice sound nonetheless and interesting patterns
Sadly, the windows MIDI dll does not implement reverb
Stereo panning works though and repeating notes with
Decreasing volume can sound reverb~ish (see Enchanted) - rulezadded on the 2025-04-24 19:13:51
